Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin joined the Today show to talk about her endorsement of Donald Trump as Iowans go to caucus tonight for the Republican presidential primary.
is was probably a tough call for you, between Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)97% and Donald Trump, began Savannah Guthrie during the interview.
t wasnât tough,â Palin interrupted.
Really, Guthrie replied.
No, it wasnât tough, she repeated.
Palin explained that she was happy to endorse Ted Cruz in his Senate race, because he was a fighter for the American people but that she wanted him to stay in Washington D.C.
want to keep him in the Senate, and I want Donald Trump to be our president, she said.
Guthrie asked Palin if Trump was necessarily âthe godly candidateâ for evangelical voters.
I hope voters arenât trying to find the most Christian-y godliest candidate out there because who are we to judge one anotherâs level of faith â our Christian quotient if you will, she said.
Host Matt Lauer suggested that perhaps Donald Trump wasnât enough of a true conservative, citing his Democratic record.
Palin referred to Ronald Reagan, pointing out that she was âgladâ that Donald Trump was a candidate that had âseen the light.â
Later in the show, Palin was asked by co-host Willie Geist about what she brought to Donald Trumpâs campaign by endorsing him.
Iâm very, very conservative, very much a right-winger, proudly clinging to my God, my guns and my Constitution, she said. âI think I speak for a lot of Americans who have those same values.â

Um...if a new president isn’t sworn in on exactly 354 days, DC will burn.
.
Sarah, we never knew ye.
Memories: R.I.P.
If DC is already burning there’s not gonna be an inauguration. If people all over the country are trying to keep alive in the midst of rioting, food shortages, no electricity, no gasoline, no internet, no phone, etc, and possibly sleeper cells committing acts of terror to take over state governments, etc.... there will be no inauguration. Survival will be all anybody can manage.
.
Reagan was a conservative patriot all of his life.
Find one single thing he wrote that wasn’t!
And.....you just made my point. Awesome.
So laws are all suspended?
You’ll never guess who posted to me for the first time in many moons. See Post 38 this thread please.
.
Get a copy of “Reagan In His Own Hand.”
Starting from high school Reagan was a solid patriotic conservative.
I was registered as a Dem once too, but never was a liberal.
“shamegate”
cute!
Ronald Reagan was not a huge developer trying to build huge projects, he NEVER had to grease the palms of these slime balls to do business!! Ronald Reagan was in Hollywood during a time when most ALL of the actors had served our country in the military most were very conservative and loved this country!!! Ronald Reagan lived during a time when this country was not infiltrated by corrupt Marxists !!!!
.
Sarah has become a complete flake.
Her TV stint turned her backwards.
.
Reagan never needed to be converted.
There was no real choice in ‘48, Dewey was a total air head.
.
.
Correct.
And big developers are all crimnals! (I know, I have worked with enough of them)
Palin just spoke at the Trump rally and said how surprised she was at her good friend Steve King saying her endorsement was bought. She said this kind of stuff really let’s you know who your friends are.
Ferguson was a tiny, tiny, itty-bitty taste of what would happen (if you ignore that EVERYBODY would only have the food and water they had saved up, would have no electricity, no running water, no phone, no internet, no cars, no buses...) And yet in that situation that was normal except for the hoodlums being agitated... were laws suspended?
The cops had communications, vehicles, etc. Everything they normally have. And yet they couldn’t control even a tiny, tiny fraction of the chaos that would ensue in the above conditions. What are they going to do on foot, when there is chaos everywhere and people realize that the only resources available for months is what’s in stores and houses right then and there?
Rich is not a bad thing
You use it like a pejorative
Bad boy!
.
He’s not a bad guy, just gets a little turned around at times.
Maybe they wouldn’t be criminals if they didn’t have to pay their way to success, instead just work really hard not having to grease palms along the way!!!
.
Money does things to people.
