PPP's new Iowa poll, conducted in partnership with Progress Iowa, continues to find Donald Trump leading in the state. He's at 31% to 23% for Ted Cruz, 14% for Marco Rubio, 9% for Ben Carson, 4% each for Jeb Bush, Mike Huckabee, and Rand Paul, 3% for Carly Fiorina, 2% each for Chris Christie and John Kasich, and 1% each for Jim Gilmore and Rick Santorum.
Since we last polled Iowa two and a half weeks ago Trump and Cruz are the only candidates to see their support move by more than a couple points- Trump's seen a 3 point gain in his support from 28% to 31%, while Cruz has seen a corresponding 3 point decline in his support from 26% to 23%.

Trump will win.
The battle is on for second place.
The rube is moving up and he can end the Cruz campaign on Monday.
Has there been a poll since the debate?
“Trump benefits from having the most firmly committed support though- 80% of his voters say they’re firmly committed to him”
The last, best poll will the Des Moines Register poll to be released early Sunday morning.
But, in Iowa all you can do is measure trends, not potential outcomes.
Apparently it covers January 26-27, 2016, so it is pre-debate.
Well even if the event is cancelled, at least I have the gauca bowle.
“only 32% of Republican voters thought someone born in another country should be allowed to serve as President”
I think Cruz will win and I hope trump loses badly. He attacks conservatives but speaks fondly of rinos and democrats.
4 percent for Jebbie is frightening: these are the GOP leadership die-hard voters.
This poll includes any so called damage of the debate. In the end he looks like the only one with stones enough to tell the media to stuff it.
Pray America wakes
I wouldn’t be surprised if Ted finished third: IA people like to throw in an occasional jolt to the process. He has done all he could, I suppose, but he started making bad errors with the preceding debate and the aftermath.
There are one American parent people all over the world, including Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Japan, S. Korea, Afghanistan, Pakistan etc
American soldiers have impregnated thousands of women during foreign wars, with children born in foreign countries.
It makes no sense to call all those hundreds of thousand people natural born American citizens. I am sure that is not what the framers had in mind.
Ted should have gone to the Veterans event instead of standing in the middle.
I don't know if Trump is formulating these ideas, or if they're the work of whom he has surrounding him, but there is no doubt at all ... Trump is kicking political ASS
By staying out of the debate, the numbers of his opponents ... that have NEVER really challenged Trumps numbers ... become a more reasonable contest in the eyes of the anti Trumps
So when Trump wins, he can legitimately state .. "I did everything I could to make it a fair race"
Luciferian evil (book of JOB) or absolutely brilliant ...
Depends on turnout. How many will stand in line to caucus.
Where did Cruz’ ground game go?
“as well as a complimentary “gauca bowle””
how much you want for that gauca bowle?
