An article in the Huffington Post this week proposes that Christians acknowledge Muhammad’s greatness and accept him as a prophet as a way to move forward in interreligious dialogue. Writer Craig Considine writes that he is a Christian with deep admiration for Muhammad, but doesn’t convert because, although he was an extraordinary human being, Muhammad is not “the man.â€

I suppose God could still send prophets after the birth of his Son, but there is no way that a Christian can believe Mohammed is one.
If you believe Mohammed is a true prophet, then you don’t believe Jesus is God or Son of God, and you are a Muslim.
As for Mo’s great teachings - give alms to the poor, and don’t smother your baby girls in the sand - those are good ones.

Hebrews goes on to show that Jesus is superior to everything else: the angels, the law, the system of priests, the temple, and more. Once you have the best, God in the flesh, you don’t need another revelation and prophet to bring something “new”. You don’t need Mohammed. You don’t need Joseph Smith. You need Jesus.

So do the Moslems themselves. Long ago in school I had some Moslem friends who tried hard to convert me to Islam. I was only a cultural Christian, not saved, not grounded, and it actually sounded pretty good. Then it got darker, as you say. Bitter discussion about the people on campus they wished they could kill, including a Jewish girl I was rather fond of. All Israelis. Man, woman and child. At that point I blinked a couple of times and walked away from those guys. I imagine half or more of them died in Kuwait.
Islam is poison, period.
Even a non-Christian like me could point to what the scriptures say about false prophets. But this is Huffpost so this stupidity is to be expected.

Okay, so he's an An Educated Idiot, a person that went to college, but is dumber than a rock. The Educated Idiot feels like he/she is smart, but they screw up everything they get involved in.
