Trump Campaign Manager Reveals Fox News Debate Chief Has Daughter Working for Rubio
Breitbart ^ | 1/28/2016 | Matthew Boyle

Posted on 01/28/2016 6:13:01 AM PST by BlackFemaleArmyColonel

Corey Lewandowski, the campaign manager for 2016 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, exposed a blatant conflict of interest on Wednesday that the Fox News Channel has been hiding for months.

Lewandowski showed how Fox News has been hiding the fact that Fox News Channel Vice President Bill Sammon has a daughter working for the campaign of the Washington establishment-backed Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL).

Sammon's daughter, Brooke Sammon, is Rubio's national press secretary, and obviously both have a vested interest in the success of the Rubio campaign and the demise of the other campaigns.

CNN's Erin Burnett asked Lewandowski about Fox News's controversial anti-Trump statement from Tuesday evening--and specifically the network's claim that the top Trump aide had allegedly made threats against Fox News anchor and Thursday debate co-moderator Megyn Kelly--when he responded by dropping the explosive revelation.

Lewandowski revealed two things for the first time: that the executive he was discussing matters with was Bill Sammon, and that Sammon's daughter Brooke Sammon works for Rubio's campaign, giving the first-term Floridian Senator an obvious boost. That blatant conflict of interest has never before been disclosed to the viewers of Fox News by the network.

"Not only did I not make threats, but the conversation with the Fox News executive--his daughter works for the Rubio campaign, he's one of the executives on Fox that writes the debate questions so maybe he has his own ulterior motives, I'm not sure," Lewandowski told Burnett in the Wednesday evening CNN interview. He went on:

But his daughter is a senior executive on the Rubio campaign, maybe he should disclose that before he's writing the debate questions for Fox.

Was there a disclosure requirement that necessitated his making that public?

Cruz crew is too busy celebrating Trump being out, and then mocking him for it.

Well good for her. I have no idea if her father had any influence in getting her jobs and I don’t care. Trumps kids don’t have to worry about that, he just gives them jobs.

Nah, it’s not worth the effort. I define it as hate because it so closely matches what I’ve witnessed people who DO hate, actually do. The use of words, the silly attacks, the attempts to intimate others who don’t see things the way you do. Oh well, I guess maybe that’s called influence in your circle. How’s that working out for you guys?

When the arguments are based on falsehoods, ie. Trump is ‘afraid’ of Megyn, and build upon that falsehood, I see that as an underdeveloped adult who is employing emotion where logic and reason should be the tools. Emotions, let me count how many there are - a couple of the more common ones - love, hate, fear - so which is it? Maybe fear...seems fitting.

“It’s not just someone. It is a child of the person in charge of the debate and the questions.”

So? Since when has a republican gotten fawning press? Deal with it, because if you win the nomination...it will still be there. Donald won’t get to skip debates to the democrat candidate, and screaming, “You’re a bitch!” won’t help him much either. Particularly since 8 years ago, Donald said Hillary would make a fine President.

But then, that was EIGHT years ago, and Donald Trump was only 61 at the time. He’s had time to grow up since!

Exactly.

I don’t want to hear one Cruz fan complaining of how Cruz gets treated at the debates tonight. They know going in FOX is dirty and they think showing up for that slime show is somehow *brave* so there is no room for complaint when Cruz is not treated fairly.

Hey RC,
Remember when some Freepers used to complain about a biased press? Well guess it’s ok now, as long as their guy isn’t the target. I’m sure they won’t squeal when their guy becomes the target. They’ll expect him to take the ‘abuse’ and call it ‘brave.’

I call it stupid.

The fact Brooke Sammon is on Rubio’s staff has been in the widely known since April 2015. Tell me how that’s “hiding.”

If she worked for the Trump campaign, nobody would be squawking about it.

Pure BS. The MSM/FR CRuzbots would have had it plastered, non-stop, on tons of threads.

Trump wouldn’t employ such a blatant conflict of interest. The debate mod/producer’s kid??

Get real.

They have always thought it, because it was true....until now. If debates were so important why are Hillary’s debates in the middle of the night?

Because she does her best work during the witching hour.

I wouldn’t give two sh*ts WHO she works for. And as for all this wild-eyed conspiracy theory-making about “hiding the fact” — please.

Brooke’s work with the Rubio campaign has been public for the better part of a year.

Yep... if The Donald didn’t come out looking blindingly brilliant and someone got the best of him in the debate, there must be a conspiracy.

There just must be.

So you’re comfortable with Muzzie who called a candidate Hitler & a wet back/female/veteran Sanders supporter asking questions at a GOP debate? Interesting. Are you a Democrat?

Who owns Marco Rubio? The open border/bad trade GOP Lobbyist like his chief of staff, CESAR CONDA, who is also Paul Ryan’s mentor. It really all is that sinister.

History repeats itself, and this time, we are the NATIVES! Who is Cesar Conda?
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3007546/posts

[snip]Meet Cesar Conda, chief of staff, Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., close associate and fellow amnesty pusher of Grover Norquist, who last week called all of us who want our borders secured, “Bitter enders”, He might as well have called us ‘Savages’.

Here is detailed some of the undermining of immigration law these two have accomplished over 3 decades, including working closely with Stephen Moore of the Cato Institute, Conda circulated a statement against Prop. 187 of California in the nineties. The race baiting they pulled on Alan Simpson when he tried to enforce the borders in the 90’s was nothing but disgusting.

Conda, an immigration lawyer, was Vice President Dick Cheney’s chief domestic policy adviser. After leaving there, Conda went to work on the editorial advisory board of the Soros publication, The International Economy Magazine.

Even amnesty pushers on the left like Conda!

[snip] I think Cesar is the right man for the job,” said Frank Sharry, founder and executive director of the pro-immigration reform group America’s Voice. “Rubio is really lucky to have Cesar Conda as his chief of staff.” Conda...has been working on the issue since the early 1990s when he was part of a group of young, libertarian-minded, pro-immigration conservatives. His government experience runs deep: He worked for former Sen. Spencer Abraham, R-Mich., and was an aide to Vice President Dick Cheney. He also spent time in the private sector as a lobbyist and analyst for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and founded the Washington office of a consulting firm called Navigators Global.

Conda was also involved with The National Foundation for American Policy, a Newt Gingrich group. Don’t be fooled, Newt is all about amnesty and has always been!

” Started in 2003, the National Foundation for American Policy (NFAP) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to public policy research on trade, immigration, and other issues of national importance. Its Advisory Board members include ....Cesar Conda.... and other prominent individuals.”

This statement sums up the Rubio/Conda relationship:

“The White House’s lawyer-friendly draft shows that it “has outsourced the formation of immigration policy to the American Immigration Lawyers Association,” said Camarota. Some of the eight senators also employ staffers who are trained immigration lawyers or who have lobbied for the immigration association before. In 2003, for example, Cesar Conda, Rubio’s chief of staff, lobbied the White House on behalf of the lawyers’ association....Given Sen. Rubio’s role in a smear campaign [using SPLC talking points] against pro-enforcement groups,” said Steve Camarota, the research director at the Center for Immigration Studies, “it does raise the question of how serious he is about enforcement.””

Conda worked as an advocate for the immigration lawyers’ association.

“As a founding partner of a lobbying firm, Navigators Global, he attended a 2003 meeting in the White House to promote a policy favored by the lawyers’ group, which stands to gain enormously from any law that expands or complicates immigration law.

In the late 1990s, Conda also worked as the legislative director for one-term GOP Sen. Spencer Abraham. In 2000, Abraham lost his Michigan Senate seat after NumbersUSA highlighted Abraham’s role in defeating a bipartisan immigration reform bill that would have curbed legal and illegal immigration.

During that 1996 immigration debate, Abraham opposed an employee-identification plan in the bill that would have required and helped employers reject applicants who were not allowed to legally work in the United States.”

Conda had a part in the expensive bank bail outs.

“At this lobbying outfit, Cesar Conda is one of the lobbyists on the Citigroup account. Previously, DC Navigators was one of AIG’s go-to firms—until the insurance company halted its lobbying efforts last fall under congressional pressure. AIG, which has received $182 billion from the government, including $40 billion in TARP funds, spent more than $9 million on lobbying in 2008”

Conda was a lobbyist for private prisons who love open borders and government $$$ to incarcerate illegal aliens.

“They also now have a paid lobbyist working in the office of a Republican Senator at the forefront of the immigration debate, in a state with major immigration issues. Take for example the chief of staff to young Republican superstar Marco Rubio, Cesar Conda. Conda still maintains ties to a powerful lobbying firm in Florida that has lobbied for the GEO Group. In fact, he still maintains partial ownership, and was paid between $50,000-$100,000 by the firm after he became Rubio’s chief of staff.. So he’s still being paid by companies like the GEO Group while working as the number-one guy to a US Senator. So the GEO Group has revenues of nearly $2 billion per year, much of which comes from the federal government as payment for detaining immigrants. It has spent more than $5 million in lobbying and political contributions in the past 8 years”

Remember when we warned the Tea Party about getting involved with Dick Armey’s Freedom works because he has always been pro amnesty??.....

- Cesar Conda is a senior fellow at Freedom Works and an editorial advisory board member of International Economy Magazine. He is a volunteer policy advisor to the Mitt Romney presidential campaign.

Conda actually states here that the Gang of 8 plan isn’t AMNESTY!! You need no more than that to know you are being CONNED BIG TIME!

Think of it! illegal aliens vote democrat. Fact. They believe it is Obama working for them. All these GOP open border amnesty purveyors like Conda get no credit for the decades of work they’ve done on the behalf of foreign nationals. Instead, Obama gets all their glory. Ignorance never changes. And History repeats itself.

The Government/Media Complex

For those who don't know history---this is the "spoils system" or the "patronage system." Boss Tweed in NYC. Shankman in Cook County. We made laws about this. This was one of the greatest concerns of honest people in government once government grew the power the hire employees.

It screws the people. It's abused to the max from the most local level to the top.

“Last year, Norquist partnered with former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s pro-amnesty Partnership for a New American Economy last year to hold monthly conference calls with lawmakers to strategize on amnesty legislation.”

Oh, you are so close!!! Norquist wrote the gang of 8 legislation along with Cesar Conda andsome other open border lobbyists. Norquist wrote Bush’s amnesty too.
