Murdoch urges Bloomberg to Run Amid Trump Debate Boycott
The Hill ^ | 1/27/16 | Neetzan Zimmerman

Rupert Murdoch broke his three-day Twitter silence Wednesday morning to urge former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg to join the 2016 White House race amid an ongoing feud with Republican front-runner — and fellow New York billionaire — Donald Trump.

"This is Bloomberg's last chance,” Murdoch tweeted. "You never know until your hat is in the ring!”

"Events change everything,” the News Corp. boss added, cryptically, "especially during elections.”

Murdoch’s Fox News is currently engaged in a rapidly escalating war of words with Trump, who has vowed to skip Thursday night’s Republican debate, which is being hosted by the network.

The real estate mogul floated the boycott earlier this week over concerns that Fox News star and debate co-moderator Megyn Kelly would be “unfair” to him, prompting Fox to issue a statement ridiculing Trump’s comments.

Good. If Trump skips the “debate”, so will I. They’re obnoxious anyway. The only reason I watch is to see Trump do his stuff.

Bloomberg is the anti-Trump. I don’t think it will work but you can definitely see how the insider establishment works. These insiders just fill me with more disgust the more I hear about them.

“...They’re obnoxious anyway.”

Yeah, they are really not worth much. More of an attempt at political damage than true fact finding on the important issues facing this nation.

Murdock’s true colors are shining through. He owns/runs a supposedly conservative network, but that’s actually a Trojan Horse. He supports an open borders agenda, and now wants Bloomberg, a Leftist control freak (like Obama, except with some actual brains and experience in running organizations) to run for POTUS. What’s the problem, Rupert, we proles are consuming too many 32-oz. Big Gulps for you?

FURM!

Go ahead and run Shorty. You will just pull votes from the left and put the GOP candidate in the WH.

$20 million bucks down the drain, Rupert. Should be good for the bottom line.

Go ahead Rupert - destroy your baby.

I recommend - If you own Fox (News Corp) stock, SELL it.

Megyn Kelly ain't worth it, but that's just my opinion.

[Murdoch’s message to Trump: We may stop propping you up, boy.]

After tomorrow, you’ll see that it has been TRUMP propping up a failing Fox News.

This is escalating in a way that NOBODY could anticipate.

Suddenly, both major political parties are reduced to near insignificance, and this has become a distance-and-direction urination contest among billionaires.

But everybody is sure talking about The Donald. And you don’t think he enjoys the spotlight? Here he gets to perform, on stage and in full view of everybody, without props, and still he works his magic.

This is absolutely the best job and biggest deal The Donald has ever had in his life.

Might even be better than sex.

“After tomorrow, you’ll see that it has been TRUMP propping up a failing Fox News.”

Exactly. They need each other and both know it.

Don’t fool yourself, trump is part of the Globalist elite and NY liberal society as much as any of them.

Trump likes to slum and he has a common touch of a sort, so he’s likable to the general populace.
