Donald Trump feud causes panicking Fox News CEO Roger Ailes to call Ivanka and Melania in attempt to get the frontrunner BACK to the debate - but he'll only speak to Murdoch

Donald Trump's refusal to attend Fox News' debate on Thursday night has sent Fox News into chaos The network's CEO has reportedly reached out to both Ivanka and Melania Trump to try and get the Republican front-runner to change his mind He refuses to attend over the inclusion of anchor Megyn Kelly as one of the debate moderators and will only speak to network head Rupert Murdoch Kelly meanwhile welcomed liberal filmmaker Michael Moore on her program Tuesday night who applauded her handling of the Trump feud One Fox News anchor said of Moore and Kelly; 'That would be like Rachel Maddow laughing along with Charles Koch as he trashed Hillary Clinton!' Trump called Kelly a 'lightweight reporter' on Wednesday morning and his campaign manager said she is 'completely obsessed' with Trump

The Fox News and Donald Trump feud is heating up now that the Republican front-runner has announced he will not be attending the network's debate Thursday night over the presence of anchor Megyn Kelly.

And while the network appears to be publicly siding with Kelly, who is still set to moderate Thursday's debate, the network is also reportedly trying to privately plead with Trump the best way they know how - through the women in his life.

Joe Scarborough revealed on Morning Joe Wednesday morning that Fox News CEO Roger Ailes had been trying to contact both Ivanka and Melania Trump hoping they could convince Trump to change his mind.

That person probably isn’t even a Republican! This is a primary debate! Democrats would NEVER allow a right leaning activist to question THEIR candidates! FOX wanted a spectacle to ambush Trump before the Iowa caucuses! They had biased Megoon, and the leftist Google you tube activists along with the Rino candidates to deliver the blows! Trump should stay away from these set ups. FOX is unfair and unbalanced!

I read it a long time ago and hunted for it last night. I think it was noted at the time that Trump and Mr. Sleepy-eyed asked to have the debate time shortened etc.

Both Trump and Carson were talking Boycott at that time. (Carson is the original Me2 candidate.)

Candy Crowley is at large.

Candy as a sit-in would be YUGE.

I’ve shouted at republicans for years for going to set-ups. Trump was right on the money.

Question is, why is Ailes so obsessed with Kelly? Why does she have so much power at Fox? She’s not that good, and she’s totally enamored with herself.

I call her “the Bimbo with the Crooked Nose”

Good point. Meg has a habit of running to leftist liberals.
After the first debate, when this All started. Kelley had a pity party about Trump with Debbie ‘big mouth’ Wasserman.
Meg is no victim in this. She's the Fox ‘star’ and apparently Fox News is willing do anything for her.

I see Trump as great in the face of a Fox Attempt to sneak attack again on behalf of the GOPE. It is Chrystal clear what Fox was doing. He blew it up. All gone and we love him for it!!! Go Donald!!!

They appear to be cut from the same cloth. Why would we want 4 more years of a narcissistic bully in the white house?

Megyn Kelly invited it all upon herself. Singlehandedly.

Right now Fox and friends (CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS, CNN, etc ) is all Megyn Kelly, all the time. Megyn Kelly has even hijacked part of FR, including this thread, and now lives rent free in YOUR head (by design, I might add).

This is what the presidential campaign has descended to.

The notion that Trump interrupted his presidential campaign to pick on a 2 bit press ***** is ludicrous.

If Megyn Kelly does not like the way Trump is handling his campaign, she should run for president herself (and good luck with that).

I think this perspective puts Megyn Kelly safely and permanently in the BIMBO category.

(And interviewing Michael Moore?? Is anything that Michael Moore does or says or thinks qualify as news these days?? Come on, Megyn Kelly— lie down with dogs, get up with fleas.)

Well its Noon. I predicted last night that by Noon today Roger Ailes would be peeing his pants. The advertisers are going to be calling him and saying WTF? :-)

Are you out of your mind?

The GOPe is lining up behind Trump now that their failed candidates in Jeb and Rubio never worked out.

This is more pettiness from a small, cowardly man afraid of screwing up right before Iowa votes.

Fox should apologise for that ridiculous, trolling statement they issued before Trump announced he was not attending. They shouldn't apologise for Kelly, and if he refuses to attend, them's the breaks.

I personally can't wait to see the gleeful awkwardness from JEB! As he seizes on Trump's absence to attack him. Too clueless to recognize that the smartest thing to do is not mention him at all.

I remember a President who shocked the world by coming home from Reykavik rather than making a bad deal with the Russians

Unfortunately, there a so many these days who can't even remember a world without 'smart' cellphones.

Who cares that what he really said was that in the case of a dem congress that he could work with Pelosi.

Odds are pretty good that the Senate will be Dem in 2017. They have only 10 seats up while the pubs have 24 seats up.

Disagree, have you seen her pictures? What is she selling in those pics...her brains? And to think she had the nerve to make a snarky comment about Palin’s sweater.
