Donald Trump feud causes panicking Fox News CEO Roger Ailes to call Ivanka and Melania in attempt to get the frontrunner BACK to the debate - but he'll only speak to Murdoch

Donald Trump's refusal to attend Fox News' debate on Thursday night has sent Fox News into chaos The network's CEO has reportedly reached out to both Ivanka and Melania Trump to try and get the Republican front-runner to change his mind He refuses to attend over the inclusion of anchor Megyn Kelly as one of the debate moderators and will only speak to network head Rupert Murdoch Kelly meanwhile welcomed liberal filmmaker Michael Moore on her program Tuesday night who applauded her handling of the Trump feud One Fox News anchor said of Moore and Kelly; 'That would be like Rachel Maddow laughing along with Charles Koch as he trashed Hillary Clinton!' Trump called Kelly a 'lightweight reporter' on Wednesday morning and his campaign manager said she is 'completely obsessed' with Trump

The Fox News and Donald Trump feud is heating up now that the Republican front-runner has announced he will not be attending the network's debate Thursday night over the presence of anchor Megyn Kelly.

And while the network appears to be publicly siding with Kelly, who is still set to moderate Thursday's debate, the network is also reportedly trying to privately plead with Trump the best way they know how - through the women in his life.

Joe Scarborough revealed on Morning Joe Wednesday morning that Fox News CEO Roger Ailes had been trying to contact both Ivanka and Melania Trump hoping they could convince Trump to change his mind.

THAT is one if the biggest journalism case studies that will be part of future curriculum ( if such still exists)

Why did they ignore the big story of exploring the Trump phenomenon and its effect on American politics?

No , instead it had to become about personal and corporate partisanship and political advocacy masquerading as journalism and news coverage

The number one cable news network assumed the worst about the intellect of its viewership - and they blew it

I don’t see the brand recovering

Like we all need another group of liberal elitists controlling our information and opinions

Question is, why is Ailes so obsessed with Kelly? Why does she have so much power at Fox? She’s not that good, and she’s totally enamored with herself.

I read somewhere that she was “banging” Britt Hume before she got her job...maybe there were others as well.

So, you approve of Kelly throwing that "War On Women" crap at a Republican candidate for President?

What does that have to do with my comment??? That is called a "non sequitur" - you take off on a completely unrelated tangent.

If we are going to go off on tangents, I will say I find it amusing that 4 years ago when Trump was supposed to moderate a debate (with Megyn Kelly of all people), the candidates did not want to attend the debate. Since Trump was talking about running himself, the candidates rightly assumed he would be biased. Trump's response was to ridicule the candidates for "not having courage". However, 4 years later, when Trump doesn't want to show up for a debate because he thinks the moderator will be biased, his supporters all hail him for his "courage". The Trump supporters certainly have the concept of "newspeak" down pat.

I admit I do not know Trump’ strategerie but I would think participating would be win-win for The Donald. Either she asks decent questions and he claims credit for forcing the change or she gets nasti with The Donald and he channels Ronnie with a “there she goes again” comeback.

Yeh and ditch the Muslim and Mexican sympathizers they have hired to ambush Trump at the debate. Trump is nuts if he attends this debacle.

If true, this is "Yuuuuge!" Got any more info on this?

Good. If Trump skips the “debate”, so will I. I’d rather not watch these Leftist-media-driven Q&A sessions (with Leftist views often contained in the question). They’re obnoxious. The only reason I watch is to see Trump do his stuff.

I've already set up One America News Network as my homepage.

I urge others to do so as well. Let's steer clicks and therefore money to our allies and away from our enemies.

Of course if he is elected, Kelley becomes Fox’ White House Correspondent.

They need each other, like Ali and Cosell, except in the opposite way.

It’s simple, Fox. Apologize and sideline that bitch Megyn.

Agreed, it's simple.

LOL! The Urban Dictionary enlightens us in this manner:

“A girl who is stupid, wears lots of make up and is obsessed with boys and clothes. Generally blonde but there are exceptions. Usually hang around with other bimbos. You can spot them because they will be the big group of girls that all look the same and are giggling hysterically.”

Yes. Trump is definitely beginning to remind me of Obama. Petulant, self-important, chicken sh*t bullying twit who tweets his snark.

You mean exactly suited to deal with all our modern "low-info" voters?

That is what I was thinking as well.

And you seem to be parroting Karl Rove talking points...

Trump is winning.

Fox debates are a freakshow. They have muslim activists and illegal immigrants

They had planned a verbal firing squad. AGAIN, they think we are idiots that will believe whatever they present to us. Same tactic Obamie uses.
