TRUMP CAMPAIGN STATEMENT ON FOX NEWS DEBATE PRESS RELEASE
https://www.donaldjtrump.com/press-releases/trump-campaign-statement-on-fox-news-debate ^

Posted on 01/26/2016 6:34:23 PM PST by TigerClaws

(New York, NY) January 26th, 2016 - As someone who wrote one of the best-selling business books of all time, The Art of the Deal, who has built an incredible company, including some of the most valuable and iconic assets in the world, and as someone who has a personal net worth of many billions of dollars, Mr. Trump knows a bad deal when he sees one. FOX News is making tens of millions of dollars on debates, and setting ratings records (the highest in history), where as in previous years they were low-rated afterthoughts.

Unlike the very stupid, highly incompetent people running our country into the ground, Mr. Trump knows when to walk away. Roger Ailes and FOX News think they can toy with him, but Mr. Trump doesn’t play games. There have already been six debates, and according to all online debate polls including Drudge, Slate, Time Magazine, and many others, Mr. Trump has won all of them, in particular the last one. Whereas he has always been a job creator and not a debater, he nevertheless truly enjoys the debating process - and it has been very good for him, both in polls and popularity.

He will not be participating in the FOX News debate and will instead host an event in Iowa to raise money for the Veterans and Wounded Warriors, who have been treated so horribly by our all talk, no action politicians. Like running for office as an extremely successful person, this takes guts and it is the kind mentality our country needs in order to Make America Great Again.

What are you talking about?

Trump has been in 6 other debates, and according to the polls he won all 6.

The Democrats have only been in 3, and they are done.

So since Trump has been in twice many deabates as the DNC, and has won all 6.... How is 1 more debate a win for the voters?????

Please do tell. That sounds like desperate Washington Establishment media talking points that PRETEND they care about this country. When everyone knows they do not give a rat @ss!

Trump and Voters + 2

Establishment Sell Out Media 0

Re:”Trump did a very courageous thing tonight by pulling out of that so-called “debate.” No other politician has the guts to stand up to the media like this!”

What color is the sky in your world??

Going to remind you of something...."News" networks in the past have played this game of promoting certain candidates, only to tear them down later.

I suspect strongly that will be the effort with Cruz. Keep in mind, this Network is still playing politics instead of reporting on politics.

Cruz had an opportunity to probably score some points and take the high road on this. If you read the statement put out by Fox News today, that was something lower than even MSNBC would have dreamed of. After reading that, I can't believe that ANY candidate would approve of Fox....On second thought, of course I can as all these candidates march to the beat of the Fox News drum.

Remember, Cruz made his run in Iowa, not by being critical of Republican opponents, but by staying on message, a positive one at that. As of now, he is sounding more like Jeb Bush in his attacks than Ted Cruz.

With the addition of the Islamist as well as the withdrawal of Trump, I hope advertisers remove support as well. My Pillow, and the mesothilioma lawyers can now get a discount.

This was apparently the Fox News email that Trump was responding to when he dropped out of debate:

"the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president." A nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings," the Fox statement said."

Glad to see that Trump will not put up with this kind of amateur nonsense. Bodes well for his presidency.

Trump hosts Wounded Warriors, Fox hosts a Muslim.

Curious optics, that.

Theo. Maybe this is your first engaged experience in a Presidential election and you decided a while back that Cruz is your choice. That’s fine. But your comments and your, let’s say, “style,” are not making your candidate, or your self, look good.

Yeah, I noticed that about those two as well. Never seen them around here before, and they post with that “I’m going to get in the Subaru and drive to town for more Bernie signs, and then come back and play with the dullards on Free Republic some more” attitude. We are being inundated with that, which of course happens every election.

What you call “brilliant” is cowardice. Trump is afraid to be on stage to receive difficult questions. Has Cruz ever cowered from tough questions? Never. But Trump has. Because he’s a coward. Your coward. Own it, montag813.

Huh? You really think that's what this is about. Little Megyn Kelly? You clearly don't understand what Trump is doing. He is using this opportunity to re-order the power structure with the media. Now Fox will have their low-ratings debate, like some all-"kids table" affair, doing little but talking about Trump. And over on CNN and MSNBC, they will be showing Trump raising cash for wounded warriors, standing next to Sheriff Joe Arpaio. BRUTAL defeat for the Establishment whores at Fox.

No love for FOX, But that is the kind of stuff Trump has been dishing out to FOX for months, now he acts like a child when someone throws it back. Another man child president. Just what we need.

He is a Democrat scumbag and crony capitalist. as bad as the Clintons.

Bill Clinton sold the guidance systems to ICBMs to Red China in exchange for campaign cash.

Hillary Clinton has *thousands* of sensitive emails, including SAP (i.e. classified higher than "Top Secret") emails on an unsecured server which must have been transferred knowingly, as the networks and computers which carry this information are air-gapped.

Any one of those is a felony which would have sent anyone else to Leavenworth(you know, given her high-profile position and consequent targeting by openly hostile intelligence services) -- or, possibly, given the amount of money the Clinton Foundation has received worldwide, it may turn out to be literally treasonous and deserving of execution.

Perhaps you'd like to reconsider, despite your partisanship.

Re:”I agree that this is a brilliant move on Trump’s part.”.

Huh?
Where was that said?
It is the move of a narcissistic coward who is afraid of a girl.
That’s who you want as commander in chief?
ISIS is ready to make a deal with him after he capitulates to Harry Reid and Nancy and Chuck and...
Pathetic

Trump just changed the workings of the media and talking heads right onto their butts!!!

One of the main campaign strategy's that Trump has is the Veterans and Wounded Warriors, and when he first announced he said all the money that people like me send to him, he was putting in the fund for the Vets and Wounded Warriors and we know of two he has helped already...and now he is going to do a y u g e fund raising event for these protectors of our Freedom...can't think of a better thing to do, and this is the type of Leader we want to lead our country...when he says something, he means it and this proves it...

GO.TRUMP.GO!!!

grey_whiskers,

You make a good point!

I have reconsidered. Trump is not anywhere near as treasonous as the Clintons. He is identical in type, but not degree. However, if we elect him POTUS ...
