TRUMP CAMPAIGN STATEMENT ON FOX NEWS DEBATE PRESS RELEASE
https://www.donaldjtrump.com/press-releases/trump-campaign-statement-on-fox-news-debate ^

Posted on 01/26/2016 6:34:23 PM PST by TigerClaws

(New York, NY) January 26th, 2016 - As someone who wrote one of the best-selling business books of all time, The Art of the Deal, who has built an incredible company, including some of the most valuable and iconic assets in the world, and as someone who has a personal net worth of many billions of dollars, Mr. Trump knows a bad deal when he sees one. FOX News is making tens of millions of dollars on debates, and setting ratings records (the highest in history), where as in previous years they were low-rated afterthoughts.

Unlike the very stupid, highly incompetent people running our country into the ground, Mr. Trump knows when to walk away. Roger Ailes and FOX News think they can toy with him, but Mr. Trump doesn’t play games. There have already been six debates, and according to all online debate polls including Drudge, Slate, Time Magazine, and many others, Mr. Trump has won all of them, in particular the last one. Whereas he has always been a job creator and not a debater, he nevertheless truly enjoys the debating process - and it has been very good for him, both in polls and popularity.

He will not be participating in the FOX News debate and will instead host an event in Iowa to raise money for the Veterans and Wounded Warriors, who have been treated so horribly by our all talk, no action politicians. Like running for office as an extremely successful person, this takes guts and it is the kind mentality our country needs in order to Make America Great Again.

Well you go and run with that.

“Hey! Ted Cruz loves to bow at the alter of biased debate moderators. Doesn’t that make him so brave?”

Trump tells the press to shove it, and the Cruz Club clutch their pearls and try to act badass. LOL!

One: I’ve never seen either of you before, so I’m calling troll/plant, especially with the whiny holier-than-thou attitude.

Two: If you two really ARE conservatives, then you should know how biased the media is in favor of the establishment, even Fox News. And you’re whining because Trump is refusing to play into their narrative of being the arbiters of truth.

If you’ve got a commanding lead like Mr. Trump has, why the hell would you show up to a debate by a network that’s already shown to have bias and agenda against you once?

YOU seem to prefer your political candidates to be all, “Thank you sir; may I have another?”

Of course it is a trap. He wanted it fixed to be fair. After the way Fox handled it then he wasn’t convinced. More media gotcha games.

The coward plays it safe.

Coward. Afraid of a girl.

We don’t need a coward as our next president. We need a tested, proven, principled, effective, hated-by-the-left, conservative leader.

“Mr. Trump knows a bad deal when he sees one.”

Yes. He knows that Trump vs. a woman with hard questions is a losing bet.

So he cowers. Weak.

Eager to hear how Trump fanbois defend this coward’s actions.

Hannity trying and trying to get Huckabee to slam Trump, but Huckabee just keeps going back to his own talking points. Lol.

Exactly. He can’t handle a girl. He can’t handle the REAL pressure of being president.

I suspect that Donald is eager to quit this game and let a statesman like Cruz take it from here.

Right. Cruz is too smart to play into Trump’s cowardly game. Cruz will follow through with his commitment to participate in the debate. Unlike your little messiah, who is too afraid to be on stage with a girl with tough questions.

Trump’s true colors are showing. He’s a coward.

Must be painful to be in Trump’s camp today. To realize that the man in whom you’ve placed your faith is such a weak coward.

Bailing out of the debate and opening yourself to negative media stories as a results is NOT being a coward. It’s taking a strong stance.

Cowards would have caved and went to the debate like a good cuckold.

Even when your candidate admits he’s a coward, and is afraid to be on stage with a girl, you yell “TRiUMPh.”

Unreal.

Trump is a coward. A scared little boy who knows that he can’t answer to tough questions from a girl. He just doesn’t have what it takes. So he takes his little ball and goes elsewhere. Some place safe. A veterans benefit. Very brave of this little coward boy.

Yes, I’m gloating. Because Trump is showing how cowardly he is. And all his cult’s disciples are struggling with cognitive dissonance on how to make sense of his fleeing from a difficult situation.

Ha.

Right. Call it what you want. He chickened out of the debate. Because he’s a coward. He does not know how to handle tough situations.

Sucks to be a Trump fanboi tonight. Your messiah is a coward.

Eager to hear how Trump fanbois defend this coward’s actions.

Trump's taken up the battle concerning how these debates have always been arranged, a battle the Republican 'leadership' should have taken up years ago. But the 'leaders' let networks stack panels with the former Clinton press secretary and a shill like Candy Crowley and Chris Matthews and others.

Megyn Kelly demonstrated her bias in the first debate and has shown it continuously on her Fox show since then. The Republican 'leaders' should have insisted she not be a moderator for this debate.

Anyone pretending she's a suitable moderator is either very ignorant or very dishonest.
