A new Reuters poll of Republicans shows that GOP frontrunner Donald Trump has expanded his national lead over rivals since his Jan. 19 endorsement by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
The new poll of 2,508 Republicans, taken over several days, showed Trump at 40 percent and Cruz sharply down to 10.5 percent. That's a 29.5-point margin.
Reuters' Jan. 19 results showed Trump at 33 percent to Cruz's 16 percent, which was a 17-point margin.
The Reuters poll is here, and can be adjusted to show the candidates' popularity among various subgroups. For example, Trump scored 38.4 percent among marrieds, 39 percent among people with an income of $50,000 to $70,000, 37 percent among people who earn above $150,000, and 36 percent among people older than 60.

Man, does this site ever need a “like” button - or, in your case, a “mega like” button!

If that happens, we’ll get to experience “New Texas Values” or “Tex-York Values” - what ever the heck that beast will look like.

The man has seen the error of his ways, had his “come to Jesus” moment, and is now fighting for the right side ...
Stranger things have happened ... Who would believe that an abortionist doctor would become a staunch defender of life? Yet such conversions have occurred.
HEY, EVEN DARTH VADER eventually came around to the truth!

So, are they contortionists, or distortionists?

Yet, liberal on almost everything else...
Not playing some “purist” nonsense either... We NEED a conservative... We need someone who respects and follows the Constitution.
Trump severely lacks in this department.

EXACTLY! Cruz is not the type of man to play second fiddle on the next available go-around ... I’d bet good money on that prediction.

See tagline. Actually I think Rand would solve a few problems. First, shore up the libertarian side of things. Second, get someone who can work with the senate. Plus he’s a fighter.

"Wake up, its over. Cruz is fading and is losing even more ground in SC and NH. Trump right now would blowout Cruz on Super Tuesday. This how it is going to play out. Cruz will lose Iowa, lose SC, lose NH and then the money will dry up for him and soon after his candidacy will fizzle out to a whimper. After Super Tuesday, he drops out."Be glad you're wrong, because under your scenario Jeb or Rubio - probably the former - would then consolidate as the #2 candidate with the full PAC force of the GOPe ... which is how exactly Romney eventually got the nomination in 2012.
