Donald Trumpâs official voting record has been released, showing that he was a registered Republican since at least 1980, throwing water on the theory that he was at one time a Democrat.
This is causing major panic in the Cruz campaign that insisted that Trump recently switched his affiliation.
Voting records for Trumpâs adult sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, were not immediately available.
Trump is leading by wide margins in New Hampshire, South Carolina, Florida, and nearly every other state where pollsters take the Republican electorateâs temperature.
In Iowa, he is running neck-and-neck with Republican Sen. Ted Cruz in some polls, and leading him comfortably in others.
On Thursday in Las Vegas, Trump boasted of a new Emerson College poll that shows him leading Cruz there by 10 points.
âCruz is going down,â he told a packed ballroom at the South Point casino. âHeâs like a nervous wreck. Heâs going down. Heâs had his moment.â

Add in Walker’s campaign. He seemed to be run by insiders who wanted to turn him into the Chamber of Commerce poster boy. I’m glad he dropped out. With more time and less interference from handlers, he has some potential.

I think you just touched on why I’m so frustrated and disappointed. Without Trump it was Cruz’s. Trump was already a household name and is now saying mostly the right things. He’s very good at making the sell. But it is what it is. I’ll support and try to remain hopeful Cruz will prevail until the likely bitter end.

The posted article is a completely deranged re-write of an original story that appeared in the Daily Mail.
Trump only voted in general elections, and there is no record for whom he voted in those general elections.
I read The Daily Mail's entire article and even saved the copies of Melania & Ivanka's Voting Records.
SHOCKER that there's NO PUBLIC RECORD for whom TRUMP CAST HIS PRIVATE BALLOT in those general elections!!!
What's this world coming to when the public can't see Mr. Trump's ballots?

The "R" under "voter type" stands for "Registered," not for Republican. The "R" under "Ballot Type" stands for "Regular," not for Republican. And, according to a New York City elections division clerk, there is no record that Trump ever voted in a Republican primary election in New York City. Trump only voted in general elections, and there is no record for whom he voted in those general elections. If what I've seen to this point is any indication, Trump and his supporters will totally ignore evidence negating their false claims. It is disturbing and distressing to see.
Trump and his supporters HAVE to distort and be devious with regard to the truth because distorting and or denying truth is the only way to bamboozle conservatives into supporting Trump. I did my due diligence months ago and found in a couple of different sources that Trump has switched parties three times in the past 26 years. Among other things.

So that makes him either a RINO who backs liberal democrats or just another hack who bribes people to get stuff he wants.

An obscure blogger made this up? Geez - I guess news outlets just made up his record.
I ran into the ABC interview with Ted yesterday. A candidate who can talk for 60 seconds without saying how wonderful he is or making personal attacks. It is really good. And Stephie was good. He actually let Ted answer. I recommend it.

Thank you very much for your kind words. I never kept up with Mr. Trump and don't recall him running as a Reform Party candidate. As a matter of fact, I never watched even one episode of his reality show ... (trying to think of its name) ... The Apprentice?
I would occasionally see him (actually, just hear him) on Fox'n Friends. I remember liking his straight, brash talk and bluster. I also liked his appearances at C-PAC and other Conservative/GOP Conferences. I was pleasantly surprised when he announced his candidacy. Prior to that I was solidly for Cruz and remained with Cruz until I decided that Trump was seriously in it to win it and to hell with the GOP-E and the MSM.
I'm sick to my almost death of polite, pansy politics, wherein our side plays defense against the dirty demonic-rats and ends up losing ... while crying foul all the way.
One caveat: Cruz would be the much superior debater on policy, law, (duh) details etc. Trump will have to bone up, wing it and out bold the demonic-rat.

Without Trump it was Cruzâs. Trump was already a household name and is now saying mostly the right things. Did you type that with a straight face?
Cruz had nothing to talk about except undoing Odinga's executive orders (something every incoming president does systematically) until Trump entered the race, opened up the discussion of immigration, muslim terrorism, work visa abuse, etc., etc.
Cruz didn't reexamine his stupid, treasonous position on H1B visas until Trump announced his position on the issue, and his support of Sessions' work on the topic.
Cruz has been one step behind Trump since June, trying to follow him topic by topic, and having to eat his own previous words at every step.
