Donald Trumpâs official voting record has been released, showing that he was a registered Republican since at least 1980, throwing water on the theory that he was at one time a Democrat.
This is causing major panic in the Cruz campaign that insisted that Trump recently switched his affiliation.
Voting records for Trumpâs adult sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, were not immediately available.
Trump is leading by wide margins in New Hampshire, South Carolina, Florida, and nearly every other state where pollsters take the Republican electorateâs temperature.
In Iowa, he is running neck-and-neck with Republican Sen. Ted Cruz in some polls, and leading him comfortably in others.
On Thursday in Las Vegas, Trump boasted of a new Emerson College poll that shows him leading Cruz there by 10 points.
âCruz is going down,â he told a packed ballroom at the South Point casino. âHeâs like a nervous wreck. Heâs going down. Heâs had his moment.â

Go recheck what he said, he started off saying there are many many great people in NY.
Unfortunately, the majority are bit govt pro abortion high tax leftists that vote for Hillary, cuomo, de Blasio, Weiner, King, etc etc.
I am a conservative, Cruz is a conservative, Trump is not a conservative.
WOW!!!
LOL!
i confess, i didn’t hear it, just what i read here.
and i believe you.
the propaganda is strong against Ted and it has confused me, i will admit.
and boy did palin do a Brutus on him!!
i KNOW Trump is not conservative.
so why am i undecided?
bad Italian temper and the NY thing and don’t think a candidate should ever pit state against state.
then there’s the propaganda about his TPP and Iran votes and missing several important votes.
there’s a picture of him looking at a camera while kissing his wife. lol.
i know it all sounds absurd but one does get muddled
but Trump’s comments about federal land might have been the icing on the cake for me.
there should be no such thing as “federal land”.
unless we’re not a republic anymore
I believe you will make the right decision.
GREAT screen name BTW.
I agree with it!!
I will pray on my decision.
Dont know how much it matters by the time they get to NY, first time i ever followed a primary.
Well, there you go! Trump = R
This is from the title:
“...New York records indicate he has NEVER voted in a Republican presidential primary...”
The no party has been publicly confirmed by his own lawyer. But the bots are clinging to this blog post because they are desperate to defend their liberal hero.
I’ve been ‘no party’ for decades. I saw local Republican party big wigs taking down democrat campaign signs and throwing them away. They refused to take them back and I quit the party that day. The biggest problem in this nation are the RNC and the DNC.
I registered as an Independent in 2007 and have never regretted it. George W. Bush’s liberalism did it for me.
Anyone who is proud to identify with the GOP is either corrupt or ignorant. YES, it may be the lesser of two evils. NOT good enough!

Amen!
Re: “I can check my past voting record in NC.”
Since 1980?
I doubt it. Unless you mean what your Party was and when you voted.
Here in Seattle, we can review our voted ballots on the web, but only for about the last six years.
And, you need the printed number on your ballot, which is assigned anonymously.
Unless Trump handed out his ballot numbers, no one can find out whom he voted for, which is what the posted article implies.
Saw on Facebook, immediately, the vicious lying Cruizing-bots posted it was/is photo-shopped, sigh
Wow. If true, this would make Trump a Republican much longer than Ronald Reagan at the time they ran for president.
The original article states that Trump never voted in any Republican “Presidential” primaries, which is what I assumed we were talking about.
In 2004, when Trump was a registered Republican, he briefly campaigned for the Democratic Party presidential nomination.
The original article specified Republican “Presidential” primaries.
I assumed that was what we were talking about.
I didn’t do any research.
I just copied what was printed in the original article from the Daily Mail.
Did you read the Daily Mail article?
Wrote I posted in my comment were direct quotes from the Daily Mail article!
