Oh Dear – Mark Levin Credibility Melts Like Glenn Beck Tears (tr)
The Last Refuge ^ | January 21, 2016 | sundance

Posted on 01/22/2016 4:08:30 AM PST by monkapotamus

There's something initially angering that becomes very sad when a fraud is revealed.  Tonight on his radio show Mark Levin was forced to admit the son of his fiancee is a full time staffer for Senator Ted Cruz.

After spending weeks attacking anyone who critiques candidate Ted Cruz, the motives of Mark Levin now take full sunlight.   He should be ashamed, VERY ashamed.

No, Mr. crony-constitutionalist, lying by omission is not the least bit funny.  Nor is deception toward your audience when you do not disclose your own conflicts.   Especially when we consider the hours Levin spends railing against the internecine family associations like George Will and his wife working for Scott Walker.

Crony politics is apparently alive and well amid the Mark Levin radio show. Perhaps he will tell the audience how much advertising money he takes from political campaigns?  Or more specifically entities with a vested interest in political campaigns?

Think he'll fess up now that he's busted?

Nah, me neither.

He's got another book to sell...

Wow. Just Wow.

The campaign of Donald Trump continues to expose the "Decepticons".

-- Cruz wasn't naturalized. --

If you mean that he didn't participate in a naturalization ceremony, I agree. Infants aren't capable.

But case law on the subject of a citizen-at-birth, born abroad of one citizen parent, affix the label "naturalized" just the same.

Bellei obtained his citizenship the same way Cruz did. SCOTUS said "A person born out of the jurisdiction of the United States can only become a citizen by being naturalized," and "Bellei, as a naturalized American, is entitled to all the rights and privileges of American citizenship, including the right to keep his citizenship until he voluntarily renounces or relinquishes it."

Mr. Bellei did not participate in a naturalization ceremony.

If you want to allow yourself to become consumed by a cult of personality, to the exclusion of reason, yes, that’s your choice. I don’t care. But don’t be outraged when others refuse to follow you off that cliff, and when they tell the truth about the object of your devotion.

I would but the Constitution does that for Ms. Pinhead's child. We cannot change history. We can only make history.

If this Birther business is so da*n important, then let us amend the Constitution for the future and require all POTUS candidates be born of two citizens of the US and of somewhat rural Texas, preferably. That is not required now but we could require it in futuro.

BTW, it seems that, if you substitute Comrade Stanley Anne Dunham Obama Soetero for Ms. Pinhead (and it s not hard to do) and "anti-colonialist" Comrade Barack Obama, Sr. for Achmed the bomber and Kenya for Afghanistan, kaboom! We have a very familiar real life case.

364 days from now , God willing, Obozo leaves office. Our long national nightmare will be over. Hopefully Comrade Imam Obozo is replaced by a conservative ready to hit the ground running and ready to spend days undoing by executive order whatever can be undone and doing whatever is necessary and desirable to purge the party of GOP-E airheads, replace each with ten Reagan Democrats, and restore our Republic and our civilization. If Ted Cruz can do that, I won't lose sleep over the NBC question.

Wow, you make no. 17 of the ultimate in delusiuon.

You might want to google the quote below and educate yourself, then again you might prefer ignorance.

"I feel liberated," Limbaugh said. "I no longer have to carry the water for people who don't deserve it."

Actually, it doesn't. Not if it is followed. At IV, Sec. 2 and the 14th amendment define citizen of the US, and Mr. and Mrs. Bomber can only birth naturalized citizens abroad, and that by grant of Congress, not by the constitution alone.

Obama is claimed to have been birthed in Hawaii. There is an argument that he is not NBC, I think a good argument - but it is a different argument than the one that works for Mr. Cruz, who openly admits being born abroad.

If Obama was born abroad, he is not a citizen at all. Not by operation of the constitution, and not by Act of Congress.

You don't listen to Rush do you? That comment is because, even as much power as he has, he has not been able to thwart the steady flow of RINO GOP(e) , just as we have not been able to here at FR (i.e McCain, Romney)

Next time, don't quote him out of context.

He wasn't born one. He is one now (by domicile and by being granted US natrualized citizenship by Act of Congress), otherwise he could not serve as US Senator for Texas.

I used to listen to him, then I realized he was just a schril for the GOPe so I stopped listening. I am much smarter now that I no longer listen to Rush. The only talk radio I sometimes listen to is Lara Ingram in the AM.

The thing that is most disgusting is that Cruz would seek to gain (successfully) the endorsement of a top radio show host in exchange for helping the bald, middle-aged host score with a woman.

Makes you wonder what he's done for Beck. And others.

Helping someone with a "hook up" is, however, a typical perk given to gain someone's support on something in the Washington DC cocktail-party establishment.

“But how does that make Trump better than the pols? Once he gets elected, he’s a pol too.”

True, which is why there should be no career politicians. None. You can’t trust anyone with ongoing power, unfortunately.
