Biased to conservative values. Is that really something that is bad?

My guess is the Rubio or Jeb camp did this to cause more friction between the Trump and Cruz camps.
Fixed that up for ya Steve but you are definitely on the right track, I don't think Rubio's campaign would waste time, effort or money on something like this, but from the perspective of Jebuardo and his scam artist (read: Mike Murphy), it makes all the sense in the world.
Jeb & Mikey still have a lot of cash to burn, and they are very likely behind a lot of this low level warfare, the critical question to ask is "who benefits" from strife in either the Cruz or Trump camps?
Answer = Jebuardo, does that's who.

There is nothing dis-closable here that requires disclosure, any more that then having a brokerage account at Goldman is, with the exception of what you must disclose in mandatory financials submitted to the Senate Committee that is part of the FEC disclosures.
This is all Nixonian gutter politics.
Not that of Reagan.

‘Levine didnât say a word against Trump, until Trump began hitting Cruz...’
Not true. Levin’s opening salvo was to threaten Trump with dire consequences for discussing items Carson included in his own book. When people asked Mark, on his Facebook page, why he was going so far to protect a liberal candidate, he deleted their posts and banned them from his page.

I don't understand what "the threat" is. From my point of view, the damage is done. A disclose has been made that Levin would prefer to keep hidden. There is no way to unring the bell. All that's changed is now, more people know his fiancee's son works with or is associated with camp Cruz.
That said, maybe there is "more," such as the story being false (like Beck saying that Trump voted for Obama).
