Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential nominee who became a Tea Party sensation and a favorite of grass-roots conservatives, will endorse Donald J. Trump in Iowa on Tuesday, officials with his campaign confirmed. The endorsement provides Mr. Trump with a potentially significant boost just 13 days before the state's caucuses.

"I'm proud to endorse Donald J. Trump for president," Ms. Palin said in a statement provided by his campaign.
Her support is the highest-profile backing for a Republican contender so far.
"I am greatly honored to receive Sarah's endorsement," Mr. Trump said in a statement trumpeting Mrs. Palin's decision. "She is a friend, and a high-quality person whom I have great respect for. I am proud to have her support." end snip

Sadly, there aren't many Tea Party stalwarts running for public office in general, and none currently running for president (unless there are some unaffiliateds whom no one knows about). I guess she figured she needed to endorse somebody.

It’s sad to have supported Palin. Her brood is essentially white trash. Hate to say it but if she lived in my town that’s what people would believe and it would be true.
Stupid? Yes she really is. Rambling, incoherent speeches that were, are and will continue to embarrass.
Why did I support and continue to defend her? Because I believed she was a fighter to advance the conservative cause.

Rather, it could be Ms Palin’s call for both Trump and Cruz to end their arguing, make peace, and look to become a President/VP team.
Trump supports amnesty.
Don’t inflate their numbers all the way to 50%, they’ll never make it that high.

I’m really disappointed by Sarah. I guess she was just another politician, after all, Cruz is the only bona fide conservative left. I guess the sluteification of her family affected her.

Perhaps it can be rebuilt with the trolls that harped on her before, now that she has abandoned the conservative American ship.
