Hundreds of years of parliamentary tradition, British expectancy over free speech, and indeed decades of the "special relationship" were tossed out of the window today as hard-line left-wing Members of Parliament, combined with virtue-signalling pseudo-conservatives gathered in a British Parliament committee room to debate banning U.S. Presidential candidate Donald Trump.
...
Hands down, Donald Trump won that debate. And he didn't even have to be there.

AWESOME!!!
They couldn’t come up with the votes to pass the ban. The debate is over. One muslim MP went into full meltdown and for a second I thought he was going to blow himself up.
I watched enough of their debate to see that Dunce lady MP from Dartmouth believe the lies of Islam is a religion. Then she condemns Donald as being a racist for wanting to halt Muslim immigration. So which is it? Islam a race or religion or a War Plan?
Thanks!
RUMP & TRUMP
“The Rump Parliament was the English Parliament after Colonel Pride purged the Long Parliament on 6 December 1648 of those members hostile to the Grandees’ intention to try King Charles I for high treason.”-wiki
The TRUMP PARLIAMENT is the English Parliament of 2016 after those members hostile to Donald Trump were defeated.
I wouldn't go that far. Even those that opposed a ban on Trump went on record against his views. But at least those favored free speech.
What? No courtesy ping?
“I was hoping theyâd embarrass themselves by having to rescind it when Trump wins the general election.”
Ditto. But I think they too have seen the handwriting on the wall.
Excellent. My tag line says it all for me.
Darn it. I was looking forward to Trump buying that island and turning it into a resort.

Pity the citizens in GB ... their elected representation has sold them over to the islamicide sweeping over Europe.
Now the English know at least one name that offers a strong counterpoint to rally behind — Trump. The House of Commons has made him stronger and highlighted their own Islamo-philic obsession.
FRegards ....
The real story here is that to the Brits, there’s a lot of controversy over whether Donald Trump should be allowed in the UK for some un-pc remarks (which they’ve called “inciting hate”), meanwhile, they never have parliamentary sessions to debate whether some Imam or Mullah (who incites actual hate at Mosque or at Saudi-sponsored “Islamic Study Centers”) should be allowed in the country. It’s a given that the Imams will not only be let in but given a warm welcome with phony refugee status.
Given your economy, we should buy the US and turn it into a theme park.
HA! Joke’s on you. We’re already a theme park. Otopia. Our leader is Selfie The Clown. Besides, I meant the island of Britain. Why are you so defensive? Didn’t your countrymen (at least the ones that had balls) vote for independence recently?
If you did turn ‘murica into a theme park, what would you call it? Londonistan West? Burqadilly Circus? Teaworld? Sorry, that last one was a cheap shot. I actually enjoy a spot of tea now and then.
But when half a million people signed a petition to *Stop All Immigration* into the UK, it scarcely got any news coverage.
We need Trump because when the imported army of rapists starts raping American women and girls, out media will be just as silent about it as the euroweenie media is as they all get raped.

The killer statement for me came from Philip Shipley "For anyone who is outraged that Donald Trump thinks people should be banned from this country because of their beliefs but thinks the solution is to ban Donald Trump for his beliefs is ridiculous. You couldnât make it up, and I could not agree less if I tried."
And that is EXACTLY the reason why I signed the second petition...
