For all the arguments that went on for years on this web site, talk radio and many other sites about Obama's eligibility.... If Cruz is eligible because his mom was a U.S. Citizen, then so is Obama because his mom was a U.S. Citizen.... Just saying!

“Hawaii was willing to issue him a certificate of birth” I believe they called it a “certification of birth” which they issued with little regard to where the child was actually born. But it’s a bit late for this now. Of course, if Obama were found to have been born outside the US, then everything he signed and ordered over the last 7 years would be invalid.

Difference is Obama was born in the USA. Cruz was born in Canada.

His claim is more than a claim because the state has accepted his claim and issued him a birth certificate. So it matters not whether he was actually born in Hawaii or born in Kenya. Remember how in the Wizard of Oz how the Scarecrow wished he had a brain and the Wizard gave him a diploma?

I have seen it. There is strong evidence that it’s a forgery, but the dems in office in Hawaii vouched for it.

Everyone knows or is obligated to know a naturalized U.S. citizen such as Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, and Bobby Jindal is not eligible to be President.
We have never seen Obama’s birth certificate. Only a digitized document that was proven to be altered by multiple sources.
On the other hand, Obama’ mother was not old enough to pass on citizenship to Obama. Probably a marriage of convenience. Probably beside the point, but the two never lived a man and wife as mother and child left shortly for her to attend college on the Mainland, at least for a season. Ironically, if Frank Marshall was —as some Obama-haters speculate —his actual father, his citizenship is well grounded.

Some of the Cruz supporters have double standards and hypocrisy when it comes to the U.S. Constitution.
I can promise you if this was Obama born in Canada, then they would be saying he is NOT qualified.
But if Obama was say a conservative like Cruz, then they would be saying he is qualified.
They are not following the U.S. Constitution. Instead they are following their political leanings and only U.S. Constitution when its someone they want in office.
Absolute 100% hypocrisy
The real bottom line of this whole entire matter is it’s moot.
1. There are reasoned and reasonable arguments on both sides of the issue on this.
2. The last 100 years of generally accepted doctrine and practice would favor Cruz being considered natural born via jus sanguinis although not difinitive.
3. No court of any stature in the land will touch this.
4. Trump brought the whole thing up to muddy the waters. Whether it has any effect on how voters cast their ballots it yet to be seen.
This is the official one, like it or not.
