Donald Trump, speaking to a religious crowd at Virginia's Liberty University on Monday, turned to scripture.
"We're going to protect Christianity. I can say that. I don't have to be politically correct," he said. "Two Corinthians, 3:17, that's the whole ballgame ... is that the one you like?"

Maybe not, but reading off this forum and agreeing with other Trump haters, you get the same information to use against him, is the same thing as using one.
He goes MUCH farther than that, and his links to Glenn Beck and David Barton and the amnesty-for-profit scams are detestable.
And all we ask for for government to get the hell out of the way.

When speaking of II Corinthians, some have been known to call it “Eleven” Corinthians.
So at least we should give the hapless Trump a break for not indulging in that particular malapropism!
How many people hear actually believe Trump even knew of this verse much before his speech, and that someone didn’t give it to him to insert into his speech.?

I refuse to read any of this thing otherwise. There’s NOTHING worse than “Christians” laughing at (judging) other “Christians.” It’s SO against what Jesus taught while he was here on earth. It’s very sad, and this is why so many people are turned off by hearing The Word. Insincere, sanctimonious Pharisees. It was in the Bible for a reason. :-(

I seem to remember, after making his statement about the passage, he asked the audience if he stated it right and I didn’t hear a resounding NOOOOOOOO!!!
Ergo, he didn’t claim to be a ‘know it all’ about the Bible’s chapter and verse , like some on here.
The implication is that Trump is not a Christian, because what Christian would say 2 instead of 2nd.
This is an attempt to destroy Trump’s connection to Christians. I don’t know why someone would bother, because I have been told Cruz has them all locked up. Well, not he doesn’t, and this reflects that.

This is more of the same desperate silliness as attacking Trump for not using the particular term "Nuclear Triad" in answering a debate question.
The Trump haters simply lack the common sense to understand how stupid they make themselves appear with these desperately contrived attempts to bring a very bright man down to their level.
My audiences usually took notes, so I spoke in the clearest terms I could fro their hearing and transcription. That was before the Internet don’tchallknow.
