The implication is that Trump is not a Christian, because what Christian would say 2 instead of 2nd.

This is an attempt to destroy Trump’s connection to Christians. I don’t know why someone would bother, because I have been told Cruz has them all locked up. Well, not he doesn’t, and this reflects that.

So if you don’t see this, ok. It’s there.

Trump himself, IMHO, needs to calm down and stop trying to prove his Christian bona fides.

I think it is clear that Christians, admittedly such as myself, are going to be at least a little skeptical regarding his great evangelical faith based upon the admission that he doesn’t really ask God for forgiveness and when you look at some aspects of his attitude and his life. I am not claiming to be perfect or that he should be perfect.

But the whole package- making a production of everything, taking a bible to every stop, saying it is his favorite book, trying to say “I am more evangelical than the Cuban”, stop trying so hard and stop pandering. Just be genuine about your beliefs and your level spiritually speaking.

I don’t go out and try to convince people I am some expert doctor. Trump shouldn’t try to out christian people.

That said, this is a silly criticism.
