The moderates and Independents and TRUMP’s hold on 20% Democrats would evaporate. These are the voters he needs in the North among labor states. Besides, Palin would lose her PAC supporters, many whom are Cruz sycophants.

You need to read up on this. Roberts is a decades old friend of Cruz. Cruz recruited him TWICE and supported his nomination in the most glowing terms.
Cruz KNEW Roberts, we didn’t.
He spends 21 hours on the senate floor pretending he can stop obamacare when the reason we are stuck with it is because of TEd Cruz.
