And it was with us for months, the smell, the air. And we rebuilt downtown Manhattan and everybody in the world watched and everybody in the world loved New York and loved New Yorkers. And I have to tell you that was a really insulting statement that Ted made."

I suspect a lot of people caught it just fine, but are faking the outrage now because they want to go along with their fellow Trump supporters. The groupthink is strong.

New York would mitigate the now standard loss of California. I doubt it will happen, but who knows. Trump may pull surprising numbers of minorities.

I live in NY. Our states values overall suck. Maybe Trump will win the primary. I hope you didn’t mean the general. No chance. And, really, if he is a conservative he doesn’t have much of a chance in the primary.

There are tons of conservatives in New York City - you don’t hear from them much; they run some of the Republican clubs, pray outside abortion clinics and ride buses to Washington to protest liberal causes. A lot are Catholic and Protestant with a few Jews thrown in for good measure. You meet them when you volunteer to work for a Republican mayor or governor usually. That’s a lost cause, generally, but that’s where you meet some of the nicest New Yorkers. Sometimes the most conservative don’t rise high within the party but they are present and accounted for.

It is disheartening to see all of the “Trump Haters” in unbelievable denial concerning the remarks at the so called “debate” tonight.
Many of these said posters deride backers of Mr. Trump as “ready, able and willing” to spin any topic as favorable to Mr. Trump, regardless of reality, and I see undeniable “projection” from the same set of posters when the shoe is on the other foot.
Stunning.
I have a real trouble supporting liberals who take pride in debates that they agree with NYC on their liberal values, for POTUS, in the primary.
Even if they are media stars who might beat Hillary.
