President Obama is pledging a "new national effort" to find a cure for cancer in his final State of the Union address on Tuesday.
"For the loved ones we've all lost, for the family we can still save, let’s make America the country that cures cancer once and for all," Obama wrote in his joint address to Congress, according to remarks released by the White House.
Obama said the efforts are inspired by — and will be led by — Vice President Biden, who has launched a high-profile push to end cancer after losing his oldest son last year.
"Last year, Vice President Biden said that with a new moonshot, America can cure cancer," Obama said Tuesday. "Tonight, I'm announcing a new national effort to get it done."
Just hours earlier Tuesday, a group of biotech companies, drugmakers, doctors and researchers formally announced a coalition called the Cancer MoonShot 2020 — a reference to Biden's speech in the Rose Garden last October when he promised a "moon shot" to end cancer.
That’s possible, but not in my experience.
A dear Friend of ours chose the “alternative” treatment route for her Breast Cancer. Needless to say, she ended up with Cancer ravaging her Body and died at age 58, less than two years later.
We should never take the Miracles that living in this day and age affords us for granted. My treatment regimen has worked for me, can’t speak for others.
Obama’s death panels will “cure” all cancer patients.

We have poured trillions into cancer research, and not got much for it. St Jude’s Children’s hospital has a better record.
Read the story of Joey Feek, cervical treatment, only to be told she has a 9 MM Sigmoid tumor, from the same cancer. Surgery, treatment, more tumors, she is in Hospice in Indiana. She has a 22 Month old Downs Syndrome Daughter Indiana Boone Feek. She has told her husband Rory she is ready to go HOME, not to their farm in Pottsville, TN, but Heaven. They just upped her morphine 4 times the rate.
And now, here I sit beside my dying wife.
I don’t say those words lightly. As a matter-of-fact, I haven’t said them at all. But my beautiful bride has said them to me in these couple of days. Her pain and discomfort has continued to increase daily and so has the morphine to help her be comfortable. The dosage she’s needed to keep the pain away has quadrupled in the last four days.

Yesterday with tears in her eyes and mine, Joey held my hand and told me that she has been having serious talks with Jesus. She said she told him that if He’s ready to take her… she’s ready to come home.
Heck the Hematologist can’t even figure out why the red/white blood cells in my bone marrow is wacky. They can’t fix what their pills destroyed, or their PT damaged either. So they leave me in level 8/9 pain 24/7.
What about all those FDA approved drugs that cause Cancer? Foreto for osteoporosis is Black Boxed for Bone Cancer, jaw degeneration, high GI side effects, bone/joint pain.
Gardasil vaccine has paid out $6 M in death lawsuits, and thousands more are on the list with horrid side effects like Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Sterility.
New one out for type 2 Diabetes states it can cause cancer being advertised on TV.
“Gardasil vaccine has paid out $6 M in death lawsuits...” I have heard bad stuff about it but didn’t realize there have been lawsuits. (Although $6m might have been one person!)
Those of us who have lost loved ones don’t exactly appreciate his insincerity on that topic.

My wife’s sister is dying of cancer as I type this. Doc says “days or hours away”. No we don’t appreciate Obama opening his pie hole about this.
Cancer was very much active on his first day as pres. He could have started then.

Why didn’t he start this effort in January 2009 instead of launching the effort to destroy the country? That might have been somewhat more productive.

I didn’t know until my 16 yr old non sexually active, her mom keeps her to busy, got her’s now she has Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia and some eating issues, went from a healthy gymnast to a child on multiple pills to treat the RA and FMS. And if the pills are the ones the normally use Lyrica and Humeria, that is bad as both are very dangerous. She is on the lawsuit list now. RA is a life time sentence that eventually ends in a wheel chair.

It is the worst of the drugs as it never leaves your system.
