For partisan Democrats, when the word âBenghaziâ comes up, the sophisticated thing to do is roll your eyes. If the name Charles Woods comes up, the normal thing to do is say, âWho?â
So letâs talk about Cindy Sheehan for a moment instead. Remember her?
For a while, she was the Joan of Arc of the anti-war Left. The mother of a U.S. Army specialist killed in Iraq, Sheehan held a vigil outside President George W. Bushâs ranch, demanding to meet with him so she could denounce the war to his face.
The mainstream media swooned.

I spent my last four years working at the U.S. Mission in Havana. Even though we were in a hell of a lot better position for a rescue than, say, Islamabad, it still would’ve been an interesting scenario if the Cubans ever decided to take our building and people. At no time during my time in Cuba, Africa or the Middle East was there ever any doubt in my mind that the U S Forces would come to our rescue. Of course, Oblahblah wasn’t Pres then.
