Obama: In Some Neighborhoods Itâs Cheaper and Easier For Kids To Get a Gun Than a Book Jenna Lifhits

In a CNN town tall special on Thursday, President Obama said that there are some neighborhoods in America where it is easier and cheaper for kids to purchase guns than books.
âPart of the reason, I think, that this ends up being such a difficult issue, is because people occupy different realities,â he said. âThere are a whole bunch of law-abiding citizens who have grown up hunting with their dad or going to the shooting range, and are responsible gun owners, and then there is the reality that there are neighborhoods around the country where it is easier for a 12 or 13-year-old to purchase a gun, and cheaper, than it is for them to get a book.â

Anybody have any notion of what the over/under on gun sales is because of CNN’s (objective) Gun Town Hall ? Does 1,000 gun sales per word seem reasonable ?
The fatherless hoodrats he is speaking of dont know what to witj books...guns..now theres a useful item!
Yes.
What self respecting thug needs a copy of War and Peace?

In those neighborhoods, books are to kids what Krytonite is to Superman.
I dont know what to witj books either.
For $1106-$1659 you could probably buy an entire library in Chicago.
Forbes Magazine: "Inside the Black Market for Guns"
I replied, "How about with how much handguns go for on the black market?"
Agent Mulham said, "Well, a quality pistol like a Glock might go for double or triple retail. Lower-quality guns, however, are often worth only $100 or $200 more than retail."
Agent Mulham and the other two agents, John Curtis and Jason Zamaloff, all weighed in and agreed there is no precise formula for what handguns go for on the street, but basically guns are so readily available the black-market price is typically just a few hundred dollars more than retail.
I guess that means that in some neighborhoods instead of library’s that allow kids to read books for free. we have your neighbor hood gun dealer that allows kids to check out guns for free.
Your former whitehouse chief of staff is now mayor of chicago, he seems to have solved the problem of guns.... er... nevermind.
In Chicago, where there are no gun dealers.
In those neighborhoods, they couldn’t read a book anyway.
H*ll. Obola’s “kids” can’t read either the book, the constitution, nor their rights after being arrested. (They might have those memorized though.)
Must be those Neighborhoods without a Public “LieBarry”.
With all that shooting going on, somebody had better call an “AmberLamps”.
I love how Obama can make such and idiotic statement and nobody bothers to “Aks” him, where are those Neighborhoods you lying Marxist Muslim Mulatto Son of a Bitch?
Same with all the hoopla about fresh veggies in the ghetto - turned out the people there preferred junk food. Yes, we have an obligation to make things better if possible - but it's got to start with the truth.
[ In those neighborhoods, they couldnât read a book anyway. ]
Same as with “food deserts” they couldn’t eat healthy either.
No demand for books of healthy food in the urban “deserts” so then the libs whine about lack of books and salads.
Libs don’t understand supply and demand.

Well meaning liberals don’t understand the laws of nature one of them being supply and demand.
Probarly, but I’ll bet they’ve all been controlled by Democrats for generations!
OMG. Who should we blame for all this mayhem? Who has been President for a number of years? Obama? Well....there we go!
Really?? Guns are less than a dollar?
