During the White House press briefing this afternoon, one reporter explained the fight between Cruz and Trump and asked if the president was enjoying the drama around Cruz's citizenship.
"I don't know if he does, but I sure do," Earnest quipped as reporters chuckled in response.
Earnest then seemed willing to feed the narrative questioning Cruz's citizenship.
"It would be quite ironic if after 7 or 8 years of drama around the president’s birth certificate if Republican primary voters were to choose Senator Cruz as their nominee," he said. "Somebody who actually wasn’t born in the United States and only 15 months ago renounced his Canadian citizenship."

Seer my last post. This is something Trump and Cruz need to do together, IMMEDIATELY. ‘Cause the only one who’s gonna be hurt by it is Obama.
Man, my heart comes to life at the thought of what those 2 could do to reveal what’s actually been going on the past 8 years. It could be done within a legal setting and have all the legitimacy and publicity a person could ever ask for! The records could all be opened through discovery.
They really, really need to do this RIGHT AWAY!!
For me this issue goes beyond Trump. If Cruz is the nominee, the Dims will use this issue with FORCE. I’d prefer Cruz squash this now by allowing for the release of his birth records.

I guess my problem is I am from a scientific background and I am focused on definitions and minutia. Its the way my mind works. I mean no harm by it. I think that if we have rules that define what is meant we need to abide by them, clarify them or redefine them.
Often life doesn’t cooperate and things fall between the lines. Also if Ted Cruz wasn’t running for the Presidency it would be none of my business. It doesn’t matter worth a hill of beans in his case but could it have stopped the saga of O or the next candidate that has antiAmerican loyalties? Who knows...the Founders thought they did or at least tried.
Of course the only attacks on Cruz's citizenship have come from Trump.
Don’t you just love the childishly transparent BS about how they’re just trying to protect Cruz voters from the democrats.
Just maybe for the sake of his voters we should worry about Trump and the history of Alzheimer’s disease in his family. After all his father did have Alzheimer’s and Donald is no spring Chicken. After all, I’m just trying to protect his voters. /s

Thanks. I’m aware of it. I have no reason to believe it’s not true but time will tell as Cruz being a Republican will be vetted on this like no other.......Dim payback ya know.

Cruz is a chess player. Maybe he was waiting for the General and if this becomes a big issue......booyah there it is.

At this rate we could have the Chinese president’s son running for and elected as President of the US. Hey, if you can have Rubio running with no American parents and Cruz running who was born in Canada, why not?
After all, aren’t Chinese women coming here to give birth so their children have citizenship? Isn’t one of the wife’s of one of the Middle East rulers an American citizen?
I personally don’t care. unless the flaw that’s caused the bad marriages would affect his role as president.

Here’s another thought. Obama has access to the federal docs on the Cruz family. The wolf in the hen house. They may know a few things already.
America does not need nor require its laws to be based upon looter mentalty.
Just because Obama successfully created a false history, false documents, sealed his records and performed dramatic events to silence opponents does not condone it acceptable.
Facts are facts.
Cruz would do better nationally if he admits according to the “interpretation” of the NBC law he should not be in the position to be a presidential candidate.

Remember, Cruz will have NO media or establishment cover from such an issue. On issues such as this Dims play hard and dirty.
Six months before that Trump was saying it was an issue. Which just proves your point even more.
