I contend that were it made public, we would find that a majority of New Yorkers, from all backgrounds and persuasions are going to vote for Donald Trump, their native son. Unlike Hillary, Trump is a natural resident.
Trump personifies New York, like Sinatra singing. He is the Big Apple in flesh and bones. He is their Bambino. He smiles above their skyline.
So, why not a poll or two? What is the media hiding from us this time?
They don't pan Trump's crowds, so, I guess why should they tell us, what may be true? I'm thinking, because if the truth were known, it would blow the lid off this season of presidential primaries.
A republican winning New York and winning it big?
The thought makes the mouth water. The idea tickles the fancy. The possible reality of it, makes you want to go outside right now, still in your pajamas and roll around in a Central Park snow, kicking your feet in the air, like a an orphaned puppy who just found his warm master.
So how about, New Yorkers? What gives? Tell us the truth. Let the cat out of the bag. Make our day, our week, our month and the whole enchilada of our year. Tell us what we know in our heart is true!!!!!
Trump is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of everybody in New York. Head to head with Hillary? She's probably six points at least down. That is, if the media is willing and wanting to tell us.

I know the state is small and may have interlopers from other states but it would still be a big deal if he could pull more folks in Bernie’s home state than Bernie himself.

There's not a lot of NY polling during the primaries simply because NY, with a primary in late April, is almost never a player in selecting the nominee of either party. I've lived in NY/NJ my entire life and have never cast a meaningful primary vote. It's not some GOPe/UN/Buildeburger rovian plot to hurt The Donald (all peace and blessings be upon him). And the odds that he'll carry NY in the general are virtually nil - same as any other Republicans.
And also, while he has his admirers in NY, he is hardly Bambino Sinatra smiling down on us from above. He's generally regarded as some business guy who became a reality TV guy. Before his entry into politics, the most time he spent on the cover of the NYC tabloids was when he was having an affair with Marla Maples. Some NYers admire him, some hate him, some think he's a goofball.

I think people are seriously deluding themselves if they think Trump will win NYS in the general election. NYS has turned hard core liberal in the past 20 years.

I think the polls are out there. The smart thing for Trump would be to hold on to them until the right time.

I like Cruz, but honestly Trump is the only one that can reshuffle the electoral map, which we BADLY need.
Out of electoral necessity we have to go have a political realignment, and Trump is the only one in the race that can accomplish that.
It must me a lot more enjoyable to run when you dont have to spend all your time begging people for money, which I know ALL canidates hate.

This is the Trump difference that leaves everyone else wanting. When he sets his sights on something, he is in it for keeps. This is the hallmark of successful man. No maybes, no I’ll just do my best, no way but win, it is either get ‘er done or bust.
His rallies, IMO, get better each time, even though it’s a little bit of “what’s in the news today,” followed with the usual listing of “his poll numbers”, then to the same thing over and over about “Carl Icahn taking care of China”, and the senior retired female soldier who was “raped, sodomized etc.”) and of course throw in that, “dirty rotton traiter, Bergdahl.” I say this because I can’t wait for the next rally, when 50% of it is the same thing. It makes you wonder, “Why does the media continue to carry this man’s rallies live.” Clearly it’s not to promote the guy, as they seldom if ever pan the crowd. So, it must be to catch him saying something that can be passed around the next day for media fodder, or to see him throw a protester out on his ear.
It’s amazing, it really is, but to me it makes sense. Why not run our governments, (emphasis on the “s”), like we do our businesses? Bill Clinton, if working at a company, would have been fired on the spot for his behavior. Ryan, McConnell and the rest fired by a company’s Board of Directors.
In short, we’re seeing a major change developing in the political landscape of this country, and the pundits, the writers, the people whom over the years we’ve admired...don’t get it. Why?

You probably caused severe mental strains with that reply with many freepers. My wife and one of our adult children are great with everyday math. When exposed to this logic/math, they get severe headaches.
