5.1 magnitude quake detected close to North Korea nuclear test site

A 5.1 magnitude tremor was detected close to North Korea’s nuclear test site on Wednesday, triggering concerns that Pyongyang had conducted a fresh atomic explosion.
The US Geological Survey said the epicentre of the quake was in the northeast of the country, some 50 kilometres (30 miles) northwest of Kilju city, placing it right next to the Punggye-ri nuclear test site.

Probably blowing up some more fertilizer to see if the fat boy can get some more bribe money going.
That would be at the very least a very very large conventional explosion. Nuke or not will have to wait for radiation sensors like our Bhangmeters in orbit. No, that’s really what they’re called.
Fortunately, ours are not the only ones in orbit because Obama wouldn’t tell us a nuke had gone off even if one had.

S Korea meeting?
North Korea is supposed to make a “special announcement” at 12:30 PM (11:00 PM ET).
The fact that the “quake” happened at exactly 01:30 UTC would indicate that it is man made.
How many kilotons does that equal?
A bit strange. Looks like an initial explosion and a secondary, not a clear fade like the Indian and Paki explosions.
Good find. Explosion followed by resultant chamber collapse. Likely nuke.
NK was rumored to be working on a fusion bomb. This might have been the fission fuse detonating without fusion results.
I would think if its an underground test, it would be an initial explosion, followed by the collapse of the surrounding ground.
From what I remember, almost all of them were 5’s or lower with an estimated yield of less than a few kilotons.
That’s why this these are so suspect. They should be much bigger if they’re initial nukes.
Maybe Obama can cry a tear for world peace.

I’m going to C&P my comment from an earlier thread today. Could be Iran, could be North Korea. Last time NK flexed their muscles there was talk about the hole in our radar defense. Maybe they want to take the focus off of Iran (now that another Iranian missile able to carry a nuke has been shown in public) but the way NK and Iran cooperate it doesn’t really matter which one of them does what.
But in response to your looking forward to Obama being out of our White House, here’s what I posted earlier:
Remember when Obama said he would be President for the next 8-10 years? By Obama’s 10th year the Islamic caliphate would be complete and Obama the puppet, no longer needed as taqiyya/cover/enabler by the Islamist masters who illegally put him into our White House, would retire to his own little paradise (he thinks).
That’s why he’s not worried about Trump taking office.
Obama is going to spend a LOT of time outside the USA this year. Speculation was that it was preparations for First Family shelter in a terrorist attack; I thought I remembered it being reported that they’ve got medical supplies for several years, etc). So probably Obama feels ready for whatever attack is to come (remember Janet Napolitano saying at her resignation that there was going to be a big event that would dwarf any catastrophe thus far?) but being outside the USA at the time of the attack would make it less likely that military folks who knew Obama was behind the attacks could seize him in the chaos, and deliver justice. I believe the terrorist attacks of late are setting the stage, letting people know that terrorists are already here and making it appear that Obama is trying to stop them when, in fact, Obama has armed, funded, excused, and taken illegal steps here to hold the door open for terrorists and make sure they are equipped to do the most damage possible. World Islamists got Obama into the White House for a reason, and everything Obama has done has advanced sharia and those wanting sharia, here in the USA and all over the world.
There is a hole in our radar defense that makes us vulnerable to an attack from the southern hemisphere. If I understand correctly that would make the southern hemisphere a safer place from the effects. In November Obama will be in South America yukking it up with his communist terrorist buddies like FARC, Castro, etc. I think I’d watch closely, because that could be the time for Iran’s bomb to get the use they have promised all along - to wipe out the USA and Israel. They’ve practiced the delivery system needed for an EMP attack.
With all that in mind, it would make sense that Obama will delay anything that would stop Iran. Iran has always been in the plan. It makes sense that he is still holding the door open for terrorists here; that was always the plan.
Obama knew before he was illegally placed into office that he was supposed to provide cover for 8-10 years. He said that in July of 2008 (2 months before the financial terrorist attack of 9-11-08 was used to give Obama a lead in the polls). So the Caliphate was supposed to be complete sometime between about July of 2016 to July of 2018.
And sure enough, he’s been working like a dog to provide political cover for all the preparations, which are now in place. Nobody has done a dang thing to stop him, this whole time. Trump has come in as a fighter but by the time Trump can do anything it will be too late.
That’s what I suspect. Call me crazy, but I’m making sure I’m ready for an EMP attack any day now.
