Don’t confuse this as a defense of the Bundy family or their team of armed militia members who have occupied an abandoned building located on a federal wildlife preserve in Oregon. Any rational-thinking American should be horrified at the amount of land the federal government has confiscated, especially in the American West, but once you use or threaten violence to further a cause, you have lost me. Their cause is just. Their methods are appalling and un-American. Also un-American is Jonathan Chait of New York Magazine openly hoping these militia men end up dead.

When I was young, I was taught something important. When publicly announcing who you think should be killed, don’t be surprised if they decide your lamp needs to get blowed out first.

Chait needs to: 1. study up on 4th generation warfare; 2. review Bill Clinton’s rules of engagement re enemy “journalists”; 3. contemplate the concept of unintented consequences; and 4. look in a mirror.

They weren’t just thinking we would get in the boxcars.
Their plans involved having, IIRC, the Russians, Chinese, North Vietnamese, and Cubans force us into the boxcars AFTER they had won the race war which they planned on starting and AFTER the country had been occupied and divided by these 4 govts.
The 25 million would have been exterminated AFTER the wars so the total number of dead Americans would have been at least double.
How about a constitutional amendment that limits the federal lands within a state to 10%
