Full title: Tripwire Alert – Donald Trump Warns GOPe Brilliantly – Understands Mississippi – Places Chris McDaniel Lawyer Mitch Tyner Center Stage…

We try not to underestimate Donald Trump any longer. In the beginning of this campaign we thought no candidate could thoroughly comprehend the tentacles of the Machiavellian schemes as well those who research these endeavors 24/7/365.

However, we are continually amazed at how The Donald not only understands the constructs, but has an insight to fire subtle shots in their direction that only those who are immersed in politics can see. Not trying to give him too much credit, but damn, the man represents the smartest republican political strategist in our lifetime – and he’s also the flippin’ candidate.

We don’t know if he voted for it. It was a private vote, to my knowledge, which Ted has never spoken to.

AFTER it was all over Cruz resigned. He knew what was going on and instead of speaking up about it, his resignation was the safe way out. He did nothing to stop it and nothing about it but quit instead of fight. Cruz is not a fighter. Everything he does is weighed and measured on the safe side.We need a fighter to captain our ship of state, not another politician protecting his own skin.

Trump’s National Spokesman (gender neutral term) is Katrina Pierson. She was in MS doing what she could to help McDaniel.

And I see here, at http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/229571-sen-ted-cruz-out-at-senate-campaign-arm , that

“He drew the ire of colleagues in 2013 by raising money for the Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF), which backed primary challengers to now-Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) and Sen. Thad Cochran (Miss.).”

So Cruz burned his “establishment” bridges by supporting the primary opponent(s) for Cochran, which was presumably Chris McDaniel.

I guess I know what Cruz would say about this then. He’d agree that the NRSCC was dirty, and that’s why he fundraised against them.

I have corrections.

Combine EPA, DOE, Interior and B-of-LM and call it the Depart of Natural Resource Utilization ( drive the lib's crazy ). Downsize it's mgt by 75%, and force a review of all regs of the last 20 yrs for their cost effectiveness and duplication across the former branches. Bring in the Rand Corp to assist in streamlining.

It's new Director, Sarah Palin...

Oh yes, Sec Def, Allan West....

Choosing battles sometimes is important so that one may live to fight again. One battle lost does not lose the war!
He (CRUZ) knows what happened and who was involved. Am sure as a man of character he would not be quiet if he had the proper backing to nail their arses to the wall. He would know what was illegal and what was just plain ol unethical!
Trump for President
Cruz for AG or SCOTUS

“happenstance or coincidence”

Are you offering me a choice? I don’t see much difference between the two

Actually, from the article I just posted the link to, Cruz started the Senate Conservatives Fund to help undo the damage of the NRSCC supporting the RINO’s. As one person he could not stop the others from making their choices, but he did resign and he did start fundraising to oppose what the others had decided to do - and it burned his bridges with a lot of establishment people, which is a courageous thing. This isn’t the only time he’s taken a stand against the establishment, which is why he is hated by so many of them.

I love it that Trump remembers Mississippi! I think he is saying so many things that have needed to be said. I would vote for him in a heartbeat. What I really, really despise is “politics” - “my guy or the highway”. You can interpret Cruz’s actions however you like, but I think you’re reading him wrong. And a lot of the people bashing Trump are reading him wrong. It’s like the blood sport of “politics” brings out the very, very worst in people. I hate that.

I don’t know whether what you’ve said is true or not - if he was totally silent when the others chose to cheat for Cochran. I do see the visible actions he took and do see that the “establishment” has punished him for SOMETHING. Were you there at those private meetings, to know what Cruz did or didn’t say/do?

Oh - and wasn’t she the gal who had a fantastic smackdown of some media lackey? If I’m thinking of the right lady, she was fantastic! I didn’t realize her connection with McDaniel.

What happened in Mississippi may have been the beginning of the end for the GOP-e.

I think you have Cruz mixed up with the wrong committee. He was on the Senate Conservative Republicans Committee but it was not this group. Very confusing, but Ted was not on this committee. There are two with similar acronyms. Ted was not on this one.
