Salena Zito used to post her articles to Free Republic and engage readers.

Tony Snow once took up for her here.

Sad to see someone so out of touch attack the people she once used to promote herself.

We are no long interested in electing more lying, cringing, sold-out, PC, DC insider GOP establishment scum who continuously stabs we American workers in the back.

We elected the GOP to majorities in both houses of Congress and they’ve done NOTHING to stop a single iota of Obama’s kommie, U.S.A-destroying agenda. Instead, all they’ve done is make excuses, pretended they were powerless when they were simply too frightened to wield their power and conducted kabuki theater which they thought was fooling us.

Well, guess what? We weren’t fooled and we’re not going to let it happen again. No more gutless wonders who are mere quivering sacks of jello, petrified that they won’t be re-elected and thereby lose access to all of those free caviar and campaign DC parties, royalty-like treatment during all of those free foreign “fact-finding” missions, and all of those free invitations to billionaires’ stadium box seats at major sporting events.

“despite Republicans holding a sizeable House majority and a slim Senate majority, institutional voting rules often prevent those majorities from enacting sweeping changes.”

Ohhhhh. I get it.... like when the Democrats had similar majority and passed Obamacare?

Salena is right and if Tony Snow was with us he would again stand up for her. FR has often bordered on reenacting the French revolution....

She has been a ‘John Batchelor Show’ guest for a long time. There is a typically smug know-it-all attitude with these people.

Every political movement has a tipping point. It goes too far, or it loses its original purpose -- or it becomes so self-enamored, under the influence of anger and mob rule, that ugliness shades all the good of its original intent.

Her lede defies her column. It applies to the GOPe first, and has applied to the GOPe for a long time now.

As far as I’m concerned the Tea Party has not gone nearly far enough and is nowhere near the tipping point.

Mobs that have gone too far and are well past the tipping point: the gay mob, the affirmative action mob, the welfare gimme dat mob, the punish the rich reward the lazy mob, the global warming mob, the celebrity worship mob, .....
