On January 25th, 2006, while at the Sundance film festival, screening "An Inconvenient Truth", Al Gore said this as chronicled in an article by CBS News:
... unless drastic measures to reduce greenhouse gases are taken within the next 10 years, the world will reach a point of no return, Gore said.
He sees the situation as "a true planetary emergency."
Well, the 10 years are about up, by now, warming should have reached "planetary emergency levels" Letâs look at the data:

Maybe off topic, but I wonder about Al Gore, and why he and Tipper split. They supposedly had such a happy marriage. Did she leave him because he became so full of himself with all this global warming crap???? Just wondering..................

We’re getting down to the wire. Will the Super Bowl happen before or after the planet succumbs to its fever? Important to know before I call my bookie.

In ten days Failure needs to be proclaimed and the Left can then redirect their efforts to hollowing out some mountains where they can all go live forever.

There was the story about the masseuse that he attacked....but I forgot the time sequence. Is she’s the only wife to dump the piece of cr**.

Gee, I wonder what the response will be? I'll field that one. Gore will simply say that he was right all along, because his 10-year prediction assumed that no one did anything to "save" the planet.
But since some coal-fired power plants have been shut down, some car mileage numbers have improved, etc., the 10-year number can be extended, perhaps by another 10 years.
Heck, I can even see Gore getting another best-selling book out of all this.
