It turns out that the millionaire GOP establishment donor who bankrolled the anti-Donald Trump skywriting at the Rose Bowl parade on New Yearâs Day isnât just any ordinary donor-class millionaire. Heâs backing Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)79% , the man who is emerging as the anti-conservative establishment and donor-class candidate for president in 2016.
According to the Center for Responsive Politics, Luther Stan Pate IVâan Alabama real estate developer worth millionsâhas donated thousands of dollars to Rubioâs electoral efforts.
On Jan. 29, 2015, Pate donated $5,200 to Rubioâwho, at the time, hadnât yet officially launched a presidential campaign but was acting as if he were running for president.
Just days earlier, ABC Newsâ Jonathan Karl reported exclusively that Rubio had hired Anna Rogers, then the finance director for Karl Roveâs American Crossroads, to lead âthe effort to raise the $50 million or more heâll need to run in the Republican primaries.â
âHe has told us to proceed as if he is running for president,â a senior Rubio adviser told ABC News for the piece, which ran on Jan. 23, 2015âsix days before Pateâs donation to Rubio.

It must all be coordinated by a computer program, of some sort.

These are the kind of attacks by Cruzers we’ve had to deal with since January of last year.
Fundamentally Fair just happens to be one of many.
First it was against the Walker supporters, once Trump entered the race, they turned to Trump supporters.
It goes all directions.
I’m sorry I made your friend cry.
Liar? It’s an opinion.
Get a grip.
Can’t wait for serial liar and Amnesty whore Rubio to GTFO of this race.
That was an incredibly well thought out rejoinder. (You seem rather sensitive to differing points of view.)
You’re wrong on several counts. First that Trump would pull a low-rent stunt like this, second; that Freepers would be swallow enough to applaud it if he did, and lastly; that I other anyone else here cares about your kindergarten insults.
First that Trump would pull a low-rent stunt like this...
That's a matter of opinion.
Here's one reason that my opinion is that Trump would:

Again, this is counter-punching. Nevermind that Twitter isn’t the rose bowl parade.
I do however, thank you for the link and the civil reply.
Respect.
I suspect that it was a Jeb Bush supporter...
“Anybody but Trump” includes Hilary which is consistent with the GOPe stance.
True, and it applies to a good number of Republicans who came with the electoral wave of 2012 and 2014.
Pate wasn’t using his head.
Oh you poor dears, you and Business Insider all just so dis-TRAUGHT at the attacks on poor Jeb!
Go have a seat over there, before you two have another fainting spell.
I think it hurt the morale of the football team by distraction.

Man...how’d they do that ? 5 planes I understand....must have been synced well on a perfectly windless day. The photo I saw was flawless.
Had been suspected Rove’s fat fingers in the pie somewhere. That it was the rube who made the pie only shows what a Simple Simon he is. As bubbles burst, wind blows and what is written is easily swept away. Just as the rube will be blown out with a strong gale.
I got it.
And your little dog too!
Guess you missed the thread of the Trump fan that changed a road sign to support Trump.
