Like Patrick Bateman in American Psycho, psychopaths can be intelligent and charming, while hiding a lack of empathy. So given their ability to manipulate others, how easy it is for you to spot one?
Self-professed psychopath Jacob Wells has revealed how he behaves in different situations and has listed questions that may help others identify whether they have any psychopathic traits - as well as recognise them in others.

Back in 1993, I read one of the books mentioned in the article, "Without Conscience" by Dr. Robert Hare, and when I told people I thought Bill and Hillary were both psychopaths I got a weird look from everybody as if they had suddenly lost their hearing and had no idea what I had just said to them.
A few years later when I would repeat what I had found, they didn't seemed so confused but slowly began to chime in that it certainly might be possible.
There are people who work without a conscience, sorta like driving a car without a speedometer.
And we now have such a person as president of the Untied States.

An easy way to check is to *YAWN* in the presence of someone you think is a nut job. If they don’t respond to the *YAWN* with a *YAWN* of their own...RUN!
Are you *YAWNING*? Even just seeing the written word should trigger a *YAWN* out of you!

You might not want to be drowning in a pool and a psychopath was the only one standing around to risk their life to save you but most psychopaths live their lives and never commit a crime.
If I remember my Psych 205 class there are two types of mental illness: Neurosis and Psychosis. Neurosis (fear of heights, spiders etc) is curable with treatment but Psychosis (paranoia, schizophrenia etc) is not curable.
