A House panel on Wednesday announced it is opening an investigation into U.S. intelligence collection that may have swept up members of Congress.

The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence's announcement of the probe comes after a Wall Street Journal report that the U.S. collected information on private exchanges between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and members of Congress during ongoing negotiations for nuclear deal with Iran.

teamobama wants Israel gone

Well giving Iran nukes is certainly a start in that goal. And hey America - watch out for those Iranian ICBMs - they aren't needed to reach Israel.

Put Trey Gowdy on it; puff up his chest, exhale some hot air and amount to nothing.

Some days after reading the news of the corruption in the District, I wish the 4th plane had gotten through.

There are a lot of US congressmen and women who NEED to be spied on - reds, black extremists, nutcases.

We should start with Moscow’s favorite red John Conyers, then Barbara Lee, Jan Schakowsky, and work our way down the food chain of treason.

For a great source on the “Who’s Who” of traitors and Marxists in Congress, get a copy of “The Enemies Within: Communists, Socialists and Progressives in the US Congress”, 2015/2017 editions, Trevor Loudon, www.pacificfreedomfoundation.org. or on Amazon.com.

The treasonous “US” Congress deserves all the eavesdropping
they got, and more. They are corrupt and coverup
every manner of treason and felony. Every day.

From Cummings to Issa to the Clown Gowdy, to say
they are scum, is unfair to scum.

Another waste of taxpayer money. The Kenyan will send one of his bimbos up to Congress and she’ll take the Fifth like all of his other bimbos. The “intel” committee will say, “Oh, okay. Time for lunch.”

When these Lefty RINOs and demorats wake up to a probability that Donald Trump will be wielding executive power and its ramifications (using the same methods that this corruption uses against conservatives as payback) there may actually be a rush to stop this overreach. When the Donald takes office he should inform them that their action is too late and that he will be using even extended executive power to even out the abuse suffered by decent patriotic Americans these last many years and proceed to use the IRS, NSA, ATF, EPA, SEC and every other administrative agency to expose the LEFT to vilification, intimidation, blackmail, and prosecution in the same manner used in the Obama Administration.

Prosecution is the KEY word to what you have said (I wrote a similar item here at FR about two weeks ago). Those who wrote and promoted unconstitutional regulations NEED TO BE PROSECUTED, if only as a determine to future little unaccountable Hitlers.

It helps to remember that the Clinton-Bush coziness goes back to the days of Iran-Contra, when Papa Bush was supervising covert arms shipments to Latin America out of Arkansas (with drugs making the return trip) and Governor Clinton was busy looking the other way. Further, as was clear during abortive Republican investigations into various Clinton scandals, in the culture of impunity of Washington, politics stops at corruption’s edge. Almost all major corruption is either bipartisan or common enough that one side can effectively blackmail the other.

When the White House doesn’t tell them “Don’t do it” in response to being told of it, it is tacit approval.

I am deeply concerned that so few, even here, seem to givvva sh!t.

People do care, but they know that no one is going to do anything about it. Who's going to call for an arrest? Impeachment? Even a serious investigation? The Republicans? really??
Washington protects it's own. We're the only ones without protection these days.
