“It is always a great honor to be so nicely complimented by a man so highly respected within his own country and beyond,†the GOP presidential front-runner told supporters at a rally in Columbus, Ohio.
“I have always felt that Russia and the United States should be able to work well with each other towards defeating terrorism and restoring world peace, not to mention trade and all of the other benefits derived from mutual respect,†he added.

In the upcoming war with Iran - Russia’s a ‘swing’. The United States will be a whole lot better off with Russia on our side or neutral than standing with Iran. Trump’s instincts on this one are right.
It comes off as arms length mutual respect, an in the big picture, that is a good thing. Trump is also playing on Obama’s ineptitude.
Obama thinks it’s a great honor when Castro praises him, the difference is Trump would steamroll Castro because he recognizes there is nothing to deal with there.
