What exactly is this problem with this? It’s just $69,000. The man has literally raised 10s of millions of dollars from small grass root efforts, but a large donation and you think you have a the magic bullet???

I would hope he would have some large donations... But $70 grand out of millions is nothing. He is beholden to no one with this. If anything, I’d say he is fortunate to have a wife employed there which helped influence her employer in supporting her husbands campaign.

Yep. A matter of trust. I get it. And I respect Cruz supporters. Used to be one myself. And I would drop Trump in a heartbeat if he proves to be a phony — not speaking about past record. But present.

You are probably right. Trump may not be a conservative although it's probably a mistake to judge him by what he says rather than what he does.
I still maintain the Donald is “apolitical” and has little if any respect for politicians.Its gonna be interesting to see how he evolves.
I just heard him say he has only spent under a million bucks of his campaign fund so far and didn't know why he bothered to spend that!Have to admit he's a new breed. Too early to make a call on him,IMHO.

Best bet on taxes would be Fiorinas three page plan. The less complicated the better.
Even if you allow only two or three million per year there are a zillion other devious ways to pay these guys.

That’s the most prudent thing I’ve heard anyone post yet. I’m already sold to be honest unless something comes up or if Cruz builds a huge moment. Was embarassed to admit I felt a certain tingle yesterday.

Okay, it went from my leg to my spine, thinking about Trump. And today it’s in my scalp. [A tingling scalp is SOOOO much more dignified.]

To be brutally honest with you I have spent several years gathering info on every candidate we have.
There is only one who is spotlessly clean and its Ben Carson and he’s not going anywhere.
Seems once again there are no 100% candidates on our side and you can forget the other side they are in negative territory.
So it seems those who sat home in 2012 did so for no reason at all.

What about the over $700,000 from the Club for Growth? Why are you ignoring hedge-fund guru Robert Mercer of Renaissance Technologies. Mercer has reportedly donated at least $31 million to help elect Cruz, which is more than Cruz has raised from other sources during his entire political career.

Donors matter. They expect something in return. Why do you think Cruz wants to increase H-1B visas five-fold?

I was in the central valley.

I think it’s called normalcy bias, you get used to the changes incrementally, saying each change ‘isn’t so bad’. The cumulative effect never gets noticed.

When we moved, that’s when I really noticed all the people speaking English, signs in English, white teenagers able to get jobs, American flags all over, people asking me straight out - what party did I vote for and which church did I go to. Apparently I answered correctly each time because I got hugs and welcomes.

It’s a breath of fresh air to be in the US!

It's either Clear Channel or local management: the local programming is unbearable - they are using Rush and Hannity for ad revenue.

KFYI2, however, is bearable: great Morning Drive (Armstrong and Getty), with Glenn Beck Babe Dana Loesch following (in which case you are likely to be listening to Rush).
