Though presidential candidates' Twitter feeds have been littered with calls for prayers after the multiple mass shootings these past few weeks, it's anyone's guess as to whether Republicans will finally talk about gun control in substance come Tuesday's debate. The conservative candidates have been notorious for skirting the topic, choosing to back their NRA interests over rigorous debate. But with the Planned Parenthood and San Bernardino shootings happening within just days of one another, will the Republican candidates finally take aim at gun control?
Their past record of doing so has been weak.

Liberals insist that we not blame all Muslims for the actions of a few, But when it comes to gun owners, the opposite applies.
there is ONLY 1 point to be made on “Gun Control”.
Taking guns away from law abiding citizens does nothing to stop mass murdering crazies from committing their crimes.
Any mention a candidate makes toward gun control outside of eliminating all federal laws, rules and regulations in place today will result in my vote being withheld. Does “...shall not be infringed.” ring a bell?
Let’s see.
Gun control for Americans.
Give guns (and a lot more) to ISIS.
Yeah that’s what we need.
I want to hear two things: Muslim control and Jihad control.

My Smith & Wesson is on the desk. My great-great
grandfather carried that gun when he was a lightkeeper
on the Tennessee River. - He maintained the lights
along the shore that gave the traffic along the river
light for safe passage. - There were, & may still be,
some very rough customers all along that river. -
That gun has never in all its days jumped up, loaded
itself and shot anyone.
Add to that government control - that is control of the government by the citizens and not control of the citizens by the government.
Something tells me that no amount of Republicans discussing gun “control” will allay Melissa’s CONCERN for the Republican candidates, and convince her not to vote for Hitlery.
I stopped reading at that point. Melissa's question boils down to "why don't the Republicans talk about the issues important to people who will never vote for them?" The question answers itself.
“...shall not be infringed.” Rumor has it. LOL! Pretty simple english to me.
Gun control is a complex topic that requires a great deal of attention to get right.
A shooter must simultaneously master trigger control, sight picture, breath control, and follow through. I’d like to see the debate put more emphasis on those fundamentals, and especially on removing all legislative impediments to applying those skills. Then the next time some Obama voter decides to initiate workplace violence while yelling religious phrases in Arabic, real Americans will have more options than just cowering until they are dead.
Odd there was no place to leave a comment at the piece (of garbage) that she wrote. Well, not really. They refuse to tolerate intolerance. Or opposing views.
Maybe they will give an object lesson that two hands on the grip is gun control...
I'd hit it.
