Karl Rove: Donald Trump Would Get 'Creamed' Up Against Hillary Clinton
The Huffington Post ^ | /12/2015 11:44 am ET | Ashley Alman

Karl Rove, who served as an adviser to former President George W. Bush, warned Republicans that nominating Donald Trump could be a death wish for the party.

In a Wall Street Journal column published Friday, Rove acknowledged Trump's consistently strong standing among Republicans in the polls, and the impressively high percentage of backers -- 46 percent, according to a recent Quinnipiac poll -- who say they won't stray from Trump before the primaries.

Hitting Trump for his antics -- citing the Republican presidential candidate's beef with Fox News host Megyn Kelly and insults of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) for being captured in Vietnam -- Rove lamented that there's seemingly no line Trump can cross to lose the backing of his loyal supporters, who "eat up stuff like that."

But in a matchup against Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton in the general election, Rove wrote, Trump would get "creamed." He called Trump a "dream candidate" for the Democratic Party.

"Although Mr. Trump's antics may not drive away his current supporters, they make him unlikely to win the White House," he wrote.

Trump just told a cheering crowd Hillary does not have the energy and the stamina to be president

The simplicity will take him right past her

It goes back to the difference between men being assertive and women being something else. They’re going to have to heavily medicate the witch to keep her under control once Trump starts in on her. She can’t let the facade down. Trump is Trump. What you see is what you get. And people are responding positively to that.

Once Hillary says what she really thinks and it goes viral people will recognize the smell coming off her as decomposition.

If someone releases pictures of all the empty seats at her campaign events that’s going to really hurt.

People like a winner. They’ll go out of their way to avoid a loser. Have no doubt, Hillary at this point in her life is a loser.

A blogger added up the deer license sales in just a handful of states and arrived at a striking conclusion: There were over 600,000 hunters this season in the state of Wisconsin.

Over the last several months, Wisconsin’s hunters became the 8th largest army in the world. That’s more men under arms than in Iran. More than France and Germany combined. They returned from hunting and NO ONE was killed.

That number pales in comparison to the 750,000 who hunted the woods of Pennsylvania’s and Michigan’s 700,000 hunters, ALL OF WHOM HAVE RETURNED HOME SAFELY.

Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia, and it literally establishes the fact that the hunters of those four states alone would comprise the largest army in the world. And then add in the total number of hunters in the other 46 states.
It’s many millions more (and not even counting TEXAS)!
________ The point? ________

America will forever be safe from foreign invasion with that kind of home-grown firepower!
Hunting ... it’s not just a way to fill the freezer. It’s also a matter of national security.

That’s why all enemies, foreign and domestic, want to see us disarmed. Food for thought, when next we consider gun control. Overall it’s true, so if we disregard some assumptions that hunters don’t possess the same skills as soldiers, the question would still remain.

What army of 2 million would want to face 30 million, 40 million, or 60 million armed citizens?

AMERICA! Designed by geniuses. Now run by idiots.

The Saudis have come out from behind that curtain to speak directly with Trump, blazing past these bushies over whom they exert so much control

Trump told them to go back to counting their daddy’s money

Roves raving at how he has to bow but trump doesn’t even consider considering it

and a losing their minds in the process.

I disagree. They lost their minds years and years ago. It began when they began to distance themselves from Gingrich's contract with America and decided that a better thing was to turn socialist pork into crony capitalist pork. They have been in a flat spin for a long time. That they are now augering in is just the finale.

If nothing else, the nomination of Donald Trump as the Republican candidate would starve the campaign coffers of the leeches in DC.
They need us to get excited, to make those campaign donations to keep the industry alive. They forget for whom they work.

"Trump just told a cheering crowd Hillary does not have the energy and the stamina to be president"

She admitted in an interview that campaigning was tiring. I believe Trump will try to run her into the ground on the campaign trail as a tactic.

What Rove and Krauthammer and Kristol and many others like them don't get is that the paradigm has shifted.

The old rules and algorithms that they spent a career developing no longer apply. Soon they will be out of a job.

This is just the talking point so they can justify a brokered convention when Trump wins the primaries.

Agreed! All this fussing and fuming about Trump’s lack of “character” is because they don’t want someone mussing Hitlery’s hair. Trump will give her a good scalping, and i can’t wait to see the fur fly.

How out of touch are these people?

Trump is wildly popular among a lot of different demographics.

Rove is threatening we won’t win with Trump ... is that like we won with McCain and Romney, Rove?
