The State of Israel respects all religions and strictly guarantees the rights of all its citizens, Mr Netanyahu said
Benjamin Netanyahu has joined a long list of international leaders to reject Donald Trumpâs comments about Muslims, while championing Israel's "respect" for all religions and citizens' rights.
The Israeli Prime Minister released a statement saying he will still meet with the Republican Presidential candidate for previously scheduled talks later this month but does not âendorse his viewsâ.
âPrime Minister Netanyahu rejects Donald Trump's recent remarks about Muslims,â the statement said.
The State of Israel respects all religions and strictly guarantees the rights of all its citizens.

If you stand with Israel, then you support Israel's refusal to bring in even one Syrian refugee, and you support Israel as a Jewish state that gives a right of return, not to Arab families who might have had ancestors in Israel, but to all Jews regardless of where they come from.
The idea that Bibi can criticize Trump for wanting to temporarily halt Muslim immigration is the biggest joke ever told.
Trump and Netanyahu are real men, unlike the Muslim-In-Chief. A wink and a nod will do.
And here we thought Donald Trump has “ broad appeal “.
If Carter does it, well, it’s all good.
If Trump proposes the identical thing: “He’s insane!”
GO TRUMP
>>Benjamin Netanyahu has joined a long list of international leaders to reject Donald Trump’s comments about Muslims
Not surprised. The world fears an America with a revitalized sense of national identity. Trump could make us realize that were sick of being scapegoat for half the world and sugar daddy to the rest, including Israel. They want a namby-pamby globalist wuss like Yeb to be president.
“... or do they continue to worship whatever comes out of Trump’s mouth and trash anyone who disagrees with him?”
Since I am too tired to write, I will respond in kind — screw you. I will trash anyone who says America has to import terrorists.
What sort of gibberish is this?
Actually, this headline is a lie.
Bibi said that he accepts all religions. And he said he was meeting with Trump as he would with any world leader. He did NOT criticize what Trump said.
Bibi has to be careful what he says, because Israel is full of murderous Muslims. No point in making them angry for political effect. Shoot them when necessary, but don’t stir them up to make yourself a photo op.
As for what Bibi really thinks, he knows that Obama totally hates Israel and the Jews, but that Trump would be a good friend of Israel. Still, no point in babbling about it.
The most recent poll has a majority of Republicans agreeing with Trump. What say you?
>>Do you understand the retribution that the Muslim-In-Chief would bring down on Israel for backing Trump’s play
He didn’t to have to say anything. He’s not a US citizen.
Think can remove citizenship from limited class of dangerous citizens if naturalized. Some one elaborate?
He has to play The Game.
>>No-win scenario for Trump supporters. Do they “Stand with Israel” and support “America’s greatest ally, Benjamin Netanyahu, the leader of the free world” or do they continue to worship whatever comes out of Trump’s mouth and trash anyone who disagrees with him?
I stand with America over Israel. When the leader of any nation starts involving himself in our elections, then he is not a friend anymore.
Their not here to become Americans.... their here to spread their form of misery and absolute tyranny to the rest of the world.....
MHO.
What hysterical remarks.
Welcome to freerepublic.
And I stand with Netanyahu. And Trump. And Cruz.
F you Bibi and the horse you rode in on.
Take care of your own country and keep your nose our of ours.
All of which has nothing to do with Trump's comments about banning Muslims from entering the United States.
Israel does NOT ban Muslims from coming to or living in Israel, although, as you noted, it does oppose bringing in Syrian refugees and giving the "Palestinians" a right-of-return for all their descendants to settle there.
As in all countries, application for immigrants or refugees to move to Israel is considered on a case by case basis (Though it might take longer than if you were Jewish.) There are currently many Muslim immigrants from Darfur now in Israel, and a few years earlier, some Bosnian Muslims were absorbed there, so Bibi's comments about Trump's proposal are hardly hypocritical. The only difference is that Israel is a Jewish state, so in order to apply for citizenship, an immigrant must have a Jewish spouse or ancestry.
The population of Israel is 17.5% Muslim, so Bibi deals with Muslims living in his country much more than Trump does here.
"Since Feb 1, 1998"
Gads, NO WONDER you have a clue. Those were the heady days, n'est-ce pas? ;-)
My nom de guerre was different in those days.
Many of these people don't appear to understand the layers - both in the politics, and the media spin of the politics.
OMuslim wants Netanyahu's head on a fence spike outside the White House. That's the reality.
The media's agenda is to lie about it, and stir things up. Good news simmers slowly, on the back burner. I like to check it from time to time. :)
