Rupert Murdoch on Trump's Immigration Stance: "Complete Refugee Pause" Makes Sense
Hollywood Reporter ^ | December 8,2015 | THR Staff

The media mogul weighs in on Donald Trump's controversial remarks about Muslims.

Rupert Murdoch spoke out about Donald Trump's recent remarks calling for a "complete shutdown" of Muslims entering the United States.

"Has Trump gone too far?" tweeted Murdoch, without answering his own question. "Regardless, public is obsessed on radical Muslim dangers, Complete refugee pause to fix vetting makes sense."

The media mogul's implication that the U.S. should have a pause on allowing refugees into the country while it "fixes vetting" is not a new idea. The House of Representatives recently voted to ban Syrian and Iraqi refugees from entering the U.S., calling for tougher screening measures.

However, Trump's request to bar all Muslims from entering the country has been met with indignation and disdain.

Looks like the establishment is losing control of the narrative.

I haven’t been so encouraged in the past thirty years.

What Trump actually said makes sense.

Trump is also getting ahead of the curve. When the next attack happens - and sadly it will - Trump will be the one guy out there standing up to Muslim extremism.

I think he means all new Muslim refugees and probably looking into those we already supposedly vetted already.
Seems to IMO be a big issue with second generation American born who did not live why they fled and listen to crap and then like a cancer they turn on their host.

Nothing states that a guy has to be a career politician to be president. The founding fathers were the opposite. They were educated statesmen with professions

Forget these guys. Talk about term limits

Just get the job done

No people can’t come into the country if they have no good reason no good contribution to plan on making. And they cannot come in if they’re sick

Just everyone needs to stop re writing history

And since there is no reliable way to vet them we can keep that ban on Muslim immigration in place until Islam goes to the reward it deserves.

Trump's complete comment is more telling.

The first part mentions halting all muslim immigration.

Some could argue that it can be viewed as hateful, blah, blah, blah.

However, the second part of his comment is more telling.

Trump clearly wants a halt to the immigration due to current policy and personnel that have failed to prevent attacks like San Bernardino.

These failures are by design or through incompetency or both.

If we cannot trust the government to do it's job, we should not be importing threats of any kind.

“Its not who we are”

I would love to hear any clown that utters this vapid slogan defend it to an honest historian.

” Trump will be the one guy out there standing up to Muslim extremism.”

He is out there standing alone. NO ONE is aligned with him. NO ONE. Trump is a genius cause when the next attack happens, and it will, he will be the only one who is speaking what damn near everyone is thinking. Muslims are not compatible with our values.

If people were presented with the scenario that if 1 - 3% of future muslims coming into the country would be or become terrorists, and would eventually attack, and one of THEIR family members would be a victim, they may see the complete sense in what The Donald is saying.

If I had the responsibility of protecting a nation, I would certainly cut off all immigration to anyone following islam. Let’s face it, there’s no way of knowing if they’re telling you the truth - taqqiya.

Vapid?

We come from people who left their countries to get a better life

They were not going to put up with religious persecutions and abuses. They came over, like my great great grandfather did because, though he was educated as was his wife, he was adventuresome

Their progeny, I can defend, is very adventuresome, educated, creative, imaginative and will not put up with abuse and religious persecution. It is in my DNA plus for their sake. In their honor, I will not watch this country suffer a terrible fate any more than they would have

The people that did not take the trouble to get over here well we can see how their progeny are fighting invasion

Obama Granted Asylum to 500,000 Mostly Muslim Syrian Refugees some 2 years ago

Several high ranking Democratic officials were spotted leaving the famed Capitol Hill watering hole Tortilla Coast. On the menu, discussions of Obama’s decision to grant political asylum to 500,000 (mostly Muslim) Syrian refugees.

Following a report recently released from Amnesty International that Jordan had forcibly removed thousands of refugees to their home country, the Obama administration has decided to take action. “Amnesty is extremely concerned about this trend. While Jordan has made tremendous efforts to accommodate half a million refugees, and is facing pressures as a result, these do not justify such violations of international law,” says Amnestys Neil Sammonds, who worked on the report.

The UN has also released a report stating that Syrians in Jordan now account for 10 percent of the country’s total population and Jordans economy simply cannot support such a large influx of immigrants. Approximately 2 million Syrian refugees have fled to neighboring countries in the region including Jordan, Turkey, Iraq and Lebanon. According to the report, 6 million Syrians are in desperate need of help and 4 million have been displaced due to the ongoing Syrian civil war.

The Syrian civil war broke out on March 15, 2011 and nationwide demonstrations grew large by April 2011 as part of the protest movement known as the Arab Spring. The protesters demanded the immediate resignation of President Bahar al-Assad, whose family has been in power since 1971.

National Report confirmed that Obama will announce his intent to grant refugees immediate citizenship status under the guise of political asylum (which triggers hefty monthly SS checks).

Camps are being setup in rural areas across the US to temporarily house the refugees complete with FEMA housing, temporary Mosques and schools.

We should have done this IMMEDIATELY after 9-11! NO muslimes should have been allowed in this country.

It is indeed a vapid slogan when applied to people who wish enslave us, as they have in every other nation they’ve been allowed into.

In fact, vapid isn’t nearly strong enough a term.
