Cruz refuses to take legal status off table

Ted Cruz on Sunday refused to address how he would handle the millions of undocumented immigrants already living in the country, despite hammering Marco Rubio this weekend for previously supporting a path to citizenship. Cruz refused to take off the table his own support of a potential path to legal status despite his cries against "amnesty."

"Let's demonstrate we can stop illegal immigration, we can protect our national security interests, we can protect our law enforcement interests," Cruz said after a campaign stop in Newton, Iowa. "Then once that's done, we can have a conversation at that point about whatever people remain here illegally."

Cruz has insisted the border must be secured before addressing proposals of how to deal with the millions of undocumented immigrants still living in the United States.

Mercer donated to the Heritage Foundation (which apparently was the reason for the protests), which also backs TPP.

Ted Cruz will only deport criminal illegals in his plan, that’s it, the rest remain, as in a grey area. Trump will deport all the illegals, and make them apply to immigrate legally.

Cruz has always favored legal status for illegals:

Ted Cruz will only deport criminal illegals in his plan,

The source you offered was written before Cruz' written plan was published.

Cruz prefers to force illegals out by economic means. Trump will send them out (he says; I don't believe him) and then bring them back on an expedited basis. Which plan breeds more future Democrats? Trump's.

He said they’ll have to apply.

Cruz has still said that illegals can stay.

He said they’ll have to apply.

"He" is a mass employer of maids, busboys, cooks, groundskeepers, and construction laborers, in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Istanbul, and Dubai, where he is known to pay a pittance. "He" is not going to commit economic suicide.

Got it now?

He already took a huge hit on his middle eastern economic interests with his comments on muslims. Do you have any idea how serious it is when the crown prince of saudi arabia is attacking you?

Also, when you’re competing on business, you have to compete on a competitive basis in order to be profitable (however there’s no proof trump used illegals nonetheless). That’s why the news media has articles calling him ‘a traitor to his class’.
