However the Turkish armoured and mechanised Brigades are formations of four or five manoeuvring until, deploying a total of about 28 squadrons of tanks, while under the 5th Army Corps also falls an independent reconaissance squadron.

They have the SU-25SM. While not quite as good (or survivable) as the A-10, it’s a decent dedicated and armored ground attack aircraft and is quite good at killing tanks in its own right.

Well, depending on what the Turks and Russians end up doing, they might have actually done better with their upgraded M60s. The Israelis developed the upgrade packs for them:

no idea, but I don’t think Turkey is going to take on Russia, they would just move into a space in the country that is friendly without any Russian or Syrian troops.
Without troops on the ground in the area where they would move, they just have to drive across the border ... you don’t have to fear anti-tank weapons where there isn’t anyone to fire them.
I wouldn’t be surprised that Turkey won’t call it an anti-ISIS action with the claim that Russian aircraft are coming too close to the border and they have to secure it to deescalate with Russia.
Most telling stat is the Su-25s' gun has 250 rounds the A-10s' gun has nearly 1200 rounds.
When they said, "NO" to the USA during one of our Iraq interventions, they officially quit NATO and should be unceremoniously removed from it.

Ditto post #11, however, keep your eye on what Russia does with their SA-400’s.. They could reap havoc with the fighter aircraft activity in the region, even without firing a single missile. 0dunga doesn’t have the BALLS to tell Russia to remove them or else, so.. Somethin’ gonna happen because of those SA-400’s, just watch.
