Dilbert creator Scott Adams said Friday afternoon that if Donald Trump survives the ongoing controversy about whether he made fun of New York Times reporter's disability, he will be a lock to win the presidency.
"If he survives this one, he's invulnerable," Adams said.
Adams took to Periscope on Friday afternoon to promote his new book, How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big: Kind of the Story of My Life, and answered questions from fans.
Recently, Adams has written about his conviction that Donald Trump will win the presidency, based on his use of sophisticated techniques of public persuasion. Adams told Reason magazine that Trump uses perceived insults to beat back opponents:
"What I [see] in Trump," says Adams, is "someone who was highly trained. A lot of the things that the media were reporting as sort of random insults and bluster and just Trump being Trump, looked to me like a lot of deep technique that I recognized from the fields of hypnosis and persuasion."

Well of course Trump is going to ‘beat’ this as the writer says...because if Trump ‘knew’ him, then Trump ‘knew’ this guy was handicapped....it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that one out...........
Trump survives easily because the NY Times are a bunch of faggot lying scumbags.
- I just literally laughed so hard when I read this that I shot coffee out of my nose like I was a kid again. Thank you.
Oh, and you are 100% right.
I don't think anyone gives a flying @ what Trump said about anyone at this point.
Can't wait for the inaugural address...
I thank you sir, I was going to post that.
Not sure, but I think the reporter’s condition is congenital (i.e. from birth). That said, it really doesn’t matter because if Trump has to kill a cripple with a bazooka to save our country (particularly if said cripple works for the NYTimes), it won’t hurt his support.
It may be the Pince Nez wireframed glasses. They are about as common and as popular these days as Bow Ties or Bolo Ties.
LOL! Yep, can’t disagree with that. What I think is going to happen is that people are going to get sick and tired of the constant attacks day after day against Trump and it’s going to become meaningless by the time the election comes around, especially if they continue to coddle and protect Hitlery. Even the most cement headed idiot is going to eventually see how bias the MSM is. All they are doing by these daily attacks is exposing themselves for what they are. I’m seeing it already in the NY Daily news which without fail has an article bashing Trump every day. At first most people were agreeing with it, now they are questioning why the Daily news is always doing this.
Idunno about all that, but I’m a sucker for a girls in bikinis.
LOL...you’ve been hypnotize.;-)
You can expect the obligatory polls out this week from the media to control the narrative.
Heard one newsie this morning use the word ‘teflon’ in reference to Trump.
‘Nothing seems to stick to this guy.’
You do know who else the newsies described as ‘teflon’ don’t you?
Hint: Think 1980s.
It's also the ears, the glasses the haircut and the shape of the head.
The Left is like the Wolf huffing and puffing against Trump’s brick house.
They better move on before they look even sillier that they do now!
You may well be the only one. That thought has never once crossed my mind.
Now that you mention it though, it’s not totally baseless....except Alan West is much smarter than Dilbert....and his necktie doesn’t flap in the breeze like Dilbert’s, either.
I'd bring marshmallows.
Trump is a marketing genius. He’s having a Black Friday through Cyber Monday special sale. With a 50 dollar purchase you get a free Trump packet of goodies. Such a deal! I’ll bet no other Prez candidate is doing an online sale today other than Trump. Go to his campaign shoppers website to see deal.
“why is it okay for obama to mock disabled people but not trump, hmm?”
Obama’s special olympics insult? It’s because he’s a Democrat!
We’re all supposed to give him a pass but crucify Trump/
