Turkey's president Tayyip Erdogan on Friday warned Vladimir Putin not to "play with fire" as their war of words continued to escalate over the downing of a jet.
Putin has refused to contact Erdogan because Ankara does not to apologize for the downing of the Russian warplane, Putin aide Yuri Ushakov told Reuters Friday.
On Thursday, Putin again slammed Turkey's explanations for the shoot down near the border with Syria, saying that the warplane's flight details had been passed to the U.S. in advance and should have been known to the Turkish government.
"The American side, which leads the coalition that Turkey belongs to, knew about the location and time of our planes' flights, and we were hit exactly there and at that time," Putin said during a news conference with French President Francois Hollande, during which the two leaders vowed to increase cooperation in the fight against ISIS.

Commenting on Erdogan’s statement, Putin said that at the G-20 summit in Antalya he showed fellow leaders the aerial pictures of convoys of oil trucks carrying the IS oil into Turkey.
The Gall.
This is what happens when you get in bed with Muslims: you get screwed by your own rules, by which they do not abide.
Hate to be off-topic but the Yemanis and Hizbollah took out a Saudi Arabian destroyer today. I believe that’s six ships SA has lost in the last three months. It was a missile attack from the shore. No news reports, tho.
[Turkey’s president Tayyip Erdogan]
There’s about 99% of the problem, right there.
I believe that Russia and Turkey will work things out. The Russians want to move ships from the Black Sea to the Aegean/Mediterranean. Much of the history of the relationship between Turkey and Russia revolves around Russia’s need/desire to use the Turkish Straits.
I’d love to see Russia blast Turkey into rubble. Turkey and its bizarre Islamist and global caliphate aspirations are the hidden hand behind much of what is happening now (including ISIS).
But that’s exactly why the Turks are Bambi’s nearest and dearest.
The problem is that they have a toe-hold in Europe and were foolishly made members of NATO. Talk about a Trojan horse....
Where did you hear that info?
One more question, how did they take out a destroyer?
What with Turkey being the size of Washington state and all will really really scare Putin.
NATO must kick out Turkey. This is like the midget at the biker bar picking on new tourists as they walk in, knowing that all of the bikers will protect him if a tourist takes a swing.
Thank you for info. amazing how msm is quite on this.

CAN’T MAKE THIS UP DEPT: CIA says Obama refused to destroy ISIS oil wells because of the impact on the environment
Russia has a lot more silo’d fire than Turkey can imagine. It is Turkey that best not play with fire.
NATO could kick out Turkey, but would it not be a lot easier for Russia to just quit taunting Turkey by disregarding its borders? How hard would that be?
Believe it or not, Russia has not opened its airspace and I would not suggest that you violate it. Putin just miscalculated and thought that Turkey would not do anything in response. It was just another Putin mistake and a tragedy for the families of these pilots. But life will go on. This is not Putin's first screwup.
