A large group of juveniles robbed a designer store in Georgetown Tuesday evening and stole $13,000 worth of items, according to D.C. Police.
The incident happened just before 6 p.m. at the Diesel store in the 3000 block of M Street NW. More than 20 people, police said, went into the store and grabbed several items off the racks, according to a police report. They stole four leather jackets, costing about $800, and an additional $12,000 worth of merchandise.
One person who worked at the store was said to have been pushed from him behind by someone in the crowd. The employee was not injured, according to police. Police described the suspects only as juveniles.

Christmas? Stop being so “Euro-centric” - it was Kwanzaa shopping. I sympathize with looted businesses, but not if they are based on EBT operating models. When bodegas in my area advertise (in English & Spanish) that they accept EBT, etc., then the bigger the sign the more I hope they get looted.

My First time ever visiting the Georgetown campus, Aug 1993, was a few days after a student couple returning from a date at night were robbed and had their throats slashed. Fatally.
Of course the magic negro will never acknowledge it, but the US has hundreds more "no-go" zones than France.
On a trip from NYC to Georgetown U one year, I took the offramp to visit Philadelphia (always wanted to visit the historic places.) After about 1/4 mile I made a U turn and never looked back.

I hear you on Phili. I did go there once to visit the historic sites. It was ok. We then took a city bus to go to Geno’s Cheese Steaks. Pretty scary and a total dump, but the bus driver was great and wouldn’t even accept a tip for helping us out so much.
But yea - probably safer in most of Syria than most of Philadelphia.
