Ted Cruz wins Maryland GOP Convention Straw Poll of Central Committee Members.
Understand these are loyal GOP activist in a very moderate Republican Party.
This is a major upset to Marco Rubio and the establishment.
Cruz 63 votes
Rubio 52 votes
Trump. 49 votes.
Carson 27 votes
Paul, Bush, Christie, and Kasiach, each received between 16-20 votes
.
Oh, I’m way too old to drive or race muscle cars anymore. I do appreciate them and enjoy seeing them as long as I’m not paying license and registration on them.
I do enjoy what I’m doing every day, even if it’s just reading a good book. No regrets ;)
Ever changed a oil pan and being in the just right position stuck between then legs of the engine houst right under the oil pan then, drop, drop , drop the oil goes up your nose ?
Not good at all.
Yes, getting to old for that being under a car working on it.
Enjoy those things in life that you missed when you were young now.
Even taking the time to read, or just watch the breeze in the trees, or looking at the stars at night.
The years go by fast.... Then you realize your old.
Got to get back on track of the subject of the thread.
This is good news for Ted Cruz.
All of the polls we are hearing about are push polls, presently.
No attempt will be made at an honest result until we are close to the end of primary season.
.
Yes.
“All of the polls we are hearing about are push polls, presently.”
No. They are not, at least the legitimate ones. Do you really think that the New York Times is promoting the candidacy of Trump?
It has been my experience that push polling occurs just before an election.
For that to be relevant, Cruz’ would have had to. Is that the case?
Yes.
That’s a meaningless answer. Are you unwilling to commit to what you are trying to imply?
I will add this and call you the liar you always are.
You don’t understand what a temporary internship is?
Troll on!
You are a liar. The point is she still does work for Goldman Sachs, she is on leave. She was also ON the CFR for a period of time.
All true, but you called someone else a liar, you liar.
I think it was post #48 in this thread. Already spent yesterday arguing about it but here it is again. By the way, he is one of many whose net worth increased by a lot when he got to the Senate. As far as I am concerned, no more arguments about it on this thread.
May 22, 2013 - Freshman Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), another potential presidential candidate in 2016, reported a net worth of $1.5 million for 2012

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), whose financial disclosure forms were also released Monday, listed assets between $2.4 and $4.7 million,

So, you’re saying he made some money on a book?
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
Same thought here.
It looks like close to 200 votes total.
Typically Maryland Republicans pick candidates like Dole, McCain and Romney.
Plus the GOP has open primaries in Maryland.
Rubio I can see but I cant picture Maryland GOP picking Cruz,
I know because I live here.
