Mike Allen is reporting a new CBS poll has Cruz surging to the top of the race in Iowa as Ben Carson collapses a full 8 points!! Here are the numbers: CBS News Battleground Tracker: Carson down 8 points from last month in Iowa ⦠Iowa caucus-goers (margin of error, 6.2): Trump 30%, Cruz 21%, Carson 19%, Rubio 11%, Bush 5%, Fiorina 4% ⦠N.H. GOP primary voters (margin of error, 6.3): Trump 32%, Rubio 13%, Carson/Cruz 10%, Kasich 8%, Bush/Fiorina/Paul 6%, Christie 5%.
Ben Carson seems to be experiencing a yuge drop in support, as a new Fox News poll has him dropping as well. You can read that here.
In that poll, Cruz also made some gains while still being tied with Rubio at third place â are we seeing the beginning of a surge for the Crazybird Cuban Canuck?!?! Stay tuned!!!

I also think Trump has punted on Iowa. He didn't show for Vander Plaat's forum, he attacked the beloved Carson on a personal level, and he rhetorically asked if "Iowans were stupid?'- a clip I'm sure Donald knew would appear again and again in Iowa in January.
Cruz on, Ted.
Carson was a Jeb Bush/RINO establishment creation.
I’m waiting for the first MSM analysis on Carson collapsing because of racism in the GOP’s base.
Cruz/Trump or Trump/Cruz would be awesome, the heads of the treasonists would explode. The GOP-E must be going into fits to get rid of them
We all know these polls are RIGGED.
The real surge will come when he announces his VP choice. I’d Love to see Lt. Col. Allen West in the position of VP or Sec. of Defense. Our Military MUST be fixed and the strength be brought back up, some of the 30 yr ones are going to have to go, though, they are still fighting the last war, not the war on terrorism.
I’d take Mike Lee for VP.
Let’s not forget the ‘curse of Iowa’ on many past winners of those caucuses, the most notable being in 1980 when GHWB-Poppy Bush won those caucuses, but after a shake up by Reagan in which he fired his inept campaign manager John Sears and brought in Bill Casey, he kicked GHWB’s RINO ass all the way to the convention.
Likewise, it was Rick Santorum who won in Iowa 4 years ago, but we all know what happened to him as Mitt-Witt ended up with the nomination anyway.
But I STILL say ‘Go Cruz!’ and ‘Go Trump!’ :)
If Cruz finishes #2, or especially #1, in IA, he loses the “unelectable” stigma and the race dynamics change. He will lose in NH but will be well positioned for the southern states. This has been his strategy all along.
He’s not just a great debater.
Looks like Trumps attack on Carson worked though, as this poll shows him slipping to 3rd. Trump/Cruz.
You mean the guy who argued Medellin vs. Texas before the SCOTUS and won isn't a great debater? You sure?

The ones that show Trump leading?
MSM analysis on Carson collapsing because of racism in the GOPâs base.
In 3. 2. 1...
Good news for America!
Trump/Cruz!
CRUZ 2016... with great respect and appreciation for Donal J. Trump!
There will be a lot more movement from Carson to Cruz. Voters are beginning to become more sober to the fact that Carson is not the person to keep us safe.
I’ve had many Iowans tell me they feel that since Iowa has such an exalted position in the primary season, many make a sport of lying to pollsters and voting contrarian to try to influence outcomes.
I like how the retards at Right Scoop have Cruz “surging,” but don’t mention that Trump, who was tied or losing Iowa last we heard, has 30 percent of the vote and is leading by 9 points.
Go Ted, go!
Trump will win IA, NH, and SC. Bang bang bang. He’s got the nomination.
“Crazybird Cuban Canuck”?
Who writes this stuff? Juan McLame?
