Cruz is always a class act. I wish the Trump/Carson/Whatever supporters - AND all of the Cruz supporters on FR - would take a lesson from Senator Ted Cruz. We don’t need to attack the other republicans.
What we need is to choose the best conservative for president and do our best to bring all conservatives into the fold as supporters and then to bring independents, moderates, and even liberals from both parties into the tent to support a real leader who will do the right things for America, things that have to be done from 2017 to 2021 to have any chance of national survival.

Numerous media reports that Cruz condemned Trump. Yes, I know that this article proves that such is a lie - Cruz apparently did not fall for the bail, but it is out there that Cruz condemned Trump for words that Trump NEVER said. See how the game is played?

"The First Amendment protects religious liberty, and I've spent the past several decades defending the religious liberty of every American."
When a reporter then pressed him on whether he was concerned about Trump's "messaging" as the frontrunner, Cruz shut down the line of questioning.
"Listen, I like Donald Trump. I recognize the media would love to get me and other candidates to attack Donald Trump," Cruz added. "There may be other candidates who want to do that.†I ain't going to do it. So, I'll tell you my policy views, but I have no interest in attacking Donald Trump or, for that matter, attacking Ben Carson. Both are good men. And I'm not interested in throwing rocks at either one of them."
