DONALD TRUMP HAS NEWS FOR ALL CONCEALED CARRY HOLDERS...
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is serious about the right to bear arms. Our country is at a time of potential threat from ISIS terrorists and with an influx of Syrian refugees, many are on high alert. Trump issued a statement to Breitbart calling for all concealed carry permit holders to actually carry.
He said"
"There are nearly 13 million concealed carry permit holders in the United States who are part of the 100 million gun owners who defend the Constitutional right to "keep and bear arms." This fundamental liberty is held closest by those who have gone through the process of vetting required to be entrusted with the ability to defend themselves, their families and their property with concealed weapons. The concept of concealed carry is as much intended to deter criminal activity as it is to provide direct defense of those who have those permits. Not all concealed carry permit holders "carry" all the time. Thus, the deterrent value is that those who might contemplate criminal behavior will think twice when that doubt exists.
Carrying a weapon is not always feasible or appropriate. However, given the increased tensions that are the result of continued, escalating terrorism around the world, more legitimately armed individuals on the streets is a positive outcome. Each permit holder must make the decision to carry or not carry. I will carry more often than I have in the past, and I am sure other concealed permit holders will do the same. Do we have an obligation to carry? The answer is "yes," but we must do it in such a way as to raise serious doubts in the minds of those who might be considering violence in America...

I have been carrying concealed more frequently lately, and will continue to do so increasingly. This is subject to change 01/01/2015, when CHL licensees can begin OPEN carry in TX- Thank you TSRA and Gregg Abbott.
Its not that. They are trained but we live in such a low crime area that few people feel threatened. It is assumed everyone has a gun in their vehicle if nothing more than for shooting varmints. I carry all the time, but my husband doesn’t except when we travel. He doesn’t really need to and he knows I have mine with me. My mother didn’t carry because I was a better shot, but she still had her CCW. My FIL carries when traveling esp out of state but doesn’t see the need going back to work between the two small towns. Its not like we live in a city. The last robbery was a couple of teenagers from 3 towns over who broke into the bar to steak candy bars and cherry schnapps. The last murder was in the 1980’s and the one before that was in the 1880’s. There has never been a home invasion in town.
Now, I wish I could carry in the one place I can’t. The state I snowbird in (CA) but we own the house out there, can’t sell it right now, and I hate 26 below weather. I do carry the weapons I can such as they are and I do keep my CCW close when at home.
Not anymore. You can find a nice S&W 460 Magnum or 500 Magnum if you want a bit more in your sidearm. The 460 is the largest I would pretend to be able to "conceal". Those two are justified in bear country. Practically, a Ruger LC9s, S&W M&P Shield or Sig P238 are light, capable and concealable under almost anything. If it's not comfortable and easy to carry, you'll find excuses to not carry. Make sure to practice regularly with your carry firearm. It needs to be a trained reflex that is accurate.
The $10 is to cover the paperwork fee and the card. If you don’t pass the ‘check’ (basically they fax the state mental hospital to see if you have been there the past 10 years) you don’t even pay the fee.
Still super easy and cheap.
Not arguing that point. Just the leftist speculation.
I carry everywhere I go.
Also, there are many stores that do not allow CCW on their property. Should a customer see my weapon, or bump into it, I can be arrested. And, I am in a conservative, CCW friendly state!
Oh yeah? Well what if it gets infected! Didja ever think about THAT! < /s>
I see your point.
Many on our side need to learn how to fight the bastards in smart ways, not stupid, counterproductive ways.
Mr. Trump, when you become President would you make the CC laws all the same across the USA please?
Thanks
Try the .50 cal Desert Eagle
My wife and I both have our basic CCW and have taken the classes for the Enhanced CCW. We just have to get our fingerprints, pictures and a $75 check in the mail to Boise. The Enhanced version is accepted in more states and allows carry in a few more places in Idaho.
A bit heavy for everyday carry. I had the pleasure of shooting an LAR Grizzly in 45 Winchester Magnum. It looks like a 1911, but larger. After 10 rounds, the stippling on the backstrap left a serious pattern in the web of my hand. The party who provided the Grizzly had a chance to shoot my Ruger Super Redhawk in .454 Casull with some Hornady 300 gr @ 1500 fps. That feels like a baseball bat slapping your hand. We both had ear to ear grins the went home with our toys.
“Do we have an obligation to carry? The answer is “yes,”
I have no obligation to carry. I carry because I choose to.
Once again Trump is leading where no one else dares tread. Armed Americans, absolutely appropriate and necessary. Too bad that isn’t possible in places most likely to find themselves targets—America’s larger cities.
I am doing my part!
Yer gonna have me in tears...
Had to offload all my beloved .45s. My wrists just won’t take it anymore.
Oh how I wish I could play with YOUR toys!
No thanks. I Will stay with my 1911.
The 44 mag is usually not an ideal CCW. (Exceptions might be bear country.)
.
BTW, in the article, look at the image of the pistol. Whomever is holding it is doing so incorrectly.
I wonder if we can sue Nanny Bloomberg for letting all his criminals travel to other states where we have guns?
