Cruz Statement on Suspension of Jindal Campaign
TedCruz.org ^ | 11/17/15

Posted on 11/17/2015 4:01:17 PM PST by Isara

HOUSTON, Texas – Presidential candidate Ted Cruz today released the following statement regarding Gov. Bobby Jindal's suspension of his presidential campaign:

“Bobby Jindal is a friend, a patriot, and an incredible governor who has consistently and passionately championed conservative values. He brought a unique talent and many strengths to the Republican primary competition.

“His focus on substantive policy matters advanced the debate that our party must have on the issues most important to American voters. And his vision for fundamental tax reform, as well as repealing and replacing Obamacare, helped set an important standard among the Republican field. He presented bold policy proposals that helped strengthen the ideas put forth in this primary to prepare our eventual nominee for the general election.

“Bobby will always be an important conservative leader in the Republican Party and serve to better the future of our country. Heidi and I wish Supriya, Bobby, and their family all the best.”

Yes, unlike Donald Trump who will attack Ted Cruz for mearly rising in the polls and declare war on Ted Cruz.

No, wait, now Trump is saying he would pick Ted Cruz as VP.

Donald Trump is unstable.

Why would Donald Trump attack Ted Cruz for rising in the polls and declare war on Ted Cruz ?

When a lot of his supporters are assured that Trump is a shoein ?

Inevdible ?

Unsinkable ?

Most surely to win ?

When they are just as assured that Ted Cruz won’t get the nomination or win the presidency ?

Now that’s a real good example of insanity.

Attacking someone for just mearly rising in the polls who they thought would not get the nomination or win the presidency.

Why do they and Trump feel threatened ?

For someone who they constantly from their rhetoric is sure to lose ?

Insanity is the only way to describe it.

The only real weasle is Donald Trump declaring war on Ted Cruz by stabbing Ted Cruz in the back as the Bennidict Arnold traitor that he is for mearly rising in the polls.

A true narassist like Obama and TRUMP thinks he can buy his way to the presidency.

He thinks he owns the presidency.

Donald Trump buying his way to the presidency.

And he's spending less than everybody else. How do you account for that logic?

So your problem is that Trump is using his own money to run for president as opposed to taking money from power brokers and then doing their bidding?

You are correct, I saw someone mention the whole pinging thing the other night & now I get it. It does seem only fair. I appreciate you pointing that out & being humorous..... I CA get behind that!

I will be honest & say that it does chap me when I see people mention to me or someone else that they are not “conservative” enough to be on FR. I’m not a troll ( for the life of me I still am not completely sure what being a troll means. I think it is someone who is just jacking people around on a site. That I don’ t do.) & have met some wonderful people on here & I find views I agree w/ & ones I don’t. I don’ think there is some truth test & frankly each person who comes here obviously has some kind of conservative thing going on.....in obviously varying degrees. I find at a lefty site I go to there are posters who cannot wrap their head around a post that goes against their ideology. I find that truly weird. It’s why I find the whole college thing of a group of loudmouthed people (many come across as bullies if not outright anti free speech thugs) who try & shut down opposing ideas to be absolutely chilling. Anyway; that’s my spiel.

I hope you have a good night.

No matter how you spin it, its still buying the presidency with his own money.

No, it's not buying the presidency because people still have to vote for him.

Bill Gates or Warren Buffet could run for president and spend $20 billion of their own money. But they wouldn't get elected. But they could pool their money and get some RINO or Democrat elected - like they've been doing for the past 30 years.

“I think Jindal is a good guy...and we’ll see if he pouts like Walker or shows some class towards Trump.”

Jindal has spoken against Trump so he won’t be giving him any accolades. He could endorse Cruz or Rubio, don’t know how he feels about Rubio.

The kind of classy statement I would expect from Cruz. Jindal would be an asset in the Cruz administration.
**********************************
I seem to recall that Jindal worked in the Bush 43 administration before becoming Gov. of LA. Had something to do with finance or budgets, I think. ....Therefore, he might be a possible asset to a Trump or Cruz Presidency.
